Thanks. I'll probably get the 1/12 next time I drop a big BBTS order.

Yeah, they're a bit steep. I'm thinking about getting 2 for displaying with mask and without. I really dig the look of them. May be an ill-advised purchase, though, since once I stand them up on the shelf, I rarely touch my figures, so their articulation would be completely wasted on me.

Yes, hi. More photos, please? That thing looks like a good time, very versatile. No new toys this week, but I did pick up a new game: Last edited by Brownfinger; 09-20-2017 at 10:42 PM.. |

Bought a Resident Evil figure lot for 140 bucks.
If you bought these individually on Ebay, it would run you over 500 bucks. Crazy deal. Picked up 600 Dollars worth or Resident Evil stuff for 140$ by Corrado Knight, on Flickr

I'd be allllll over them if they were bigger than 4" sized

Yeah, I'm heavy into Resident Evil lately. There are so many 1/6 scale 3rd party figures coming out, I jumped hard.
I've been into the series gaming wise since 1996, when original came out and played every game since. Just started getting back into it every since I got the Resident Evil 6 Hot Toys Leon that came out not that long ago. I'll take closer pics later when I have these in hand. The guy with the sack over his face is from Part 4. Carries a chainsaw and will cut you literally to pieces in the game.

Yeah, Part 4 had Leon as main character in Spain and Part 5 was Chris in Africa.
I just recently bought Part 4, Part 5 and 6 HD Remasters all for 26 bucks on Xbox One, which is a great deal considering they're 20 a piece. I just beat 4,5 and 6 and now I'm playing Zero HD Remaster. Love these games, having a blast. Before those I was playing Resident Evil Code Veronica X on my PS4 and after beating Zero and the Remake of Part 1 on Xbox One again, I'll play my digital copies of Part 2 and 3 on my PS3 again lol. Wish the digital copies would play on my PS4 though. If you ever dig out your Resident Evil stuff, let me know bro.

I did this hunt a few years back. Spent all summer finishing out the complete set including the concept coins and the Celebration ones.
No I am not missing one, that is the Black coin. I always loved the book to put them all in. I did pick up this week the Marvel vs Capcom Infinite collectors edition.
Not sure where to put all the statues it came with so they might go into storage for now. Untitled by Phantomcrow, on Flickr |

Picked up this Resident Evil figure lot for 140 bucks. If you bought these figures separate on Ebay, which it's about only place you could, you'd spend close to 600$. I was going to get another Neca Chris Redfield and a Jill Valentine for an upcoming Resident Evil Lab diorama and the cheapest I seen those for on Ebay would have equaled 127$, so I got lucky getting all of these for what I paid. Granted some of them I already had but just to get the Resident Evil 4 Leon, Ada, Chainsaw dude would be more than 151$

The Crows come with 1 of the Neca Zombies. I had 1 before, so now I have two crows. Which is awesome cause those suckers are awesome in the games.

I got the lot of Ebay for 140 bucks here. Resident Evil Figure Lot NECA ToyBiz Leon Kennedy Jill Valentine Licker Tyrant | eBay Hard to believe it was so cheap. I thought either the listing was wrong or the figures would have many scratches and be loose. Not only are they not scratched but they aren't even remotely loose. They came with basically all acessories other than some grenades. I'd have thrown those in a bin anyway or used them with my Punisher Diorama. Crazy deal!

I picked up 3 of the Batman Classic TV Series 3-packs with the exclusive Yvonne Craig Batgirl this morning for a grand total of $8.46. These sets have been collecting dust at my local TRU for at least 2 years. They started out at $60 each, but I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for the exclusive Batgirl. They got marked down to $30 a while back and I kept an eye on them everytime I stopped in for other stuff. Then recently they were reduced again to $2.98 each but I didn't realize it because the tag on the shelf still read $29.99. This morning I took a 20% off coupon in with me expecting to pay $24 for one set. The cashier told me the coupon wouldn't work because it was on clearance for $2.98. I ran back to get the other two sets and it turns out there was also a buy one get one 40% off deal. So I got two of them for $2.98 and one for $1.79. I'm keeping one for myself, giving one to a friend and I'm going to try to sell the other set on eBay.
Honesty these aren't the best figures, but this line has the best character selection, accessories and articulation of any modern toy line based on the Adam West Batman series so far. The only two I'm missing now are Surfing Joker and the SDCC exclusive Batusi Batman, both of which I have zero interest in. I'm pretty stoked to finally add the Yvonne Craig Batgirl to my collection. Especially for such a low price. Cheers! |
