Yeah that’s the only way I figured out how to upload pics I have to go thru this shitty website called MAGAimg so now I can actually post pics lmao. After the 2nd pic the other 3 are from the same guy he sold me the rest for a $20 so the entire shit was $50

Found the Freddy's Revenge ultimate NECA figure at TRU yesterday. They must have just opened their shipment because when I went in they had ten or so out. Thankfully for me this meant I got to find one with good claws on both hands. It's another NECA ultimate so I don't need to go into how much I love each of these releases that I get but some highlights for me are: that they included both the gloved and monster right hands, the exposed brain head, and the way the fire piece came out and works. So the fire piece is pretty light so it really shouldn't throw his balance off but the way it attaches via a magnet not only works well but also means that it doesn't interfere with the display of this figure. There's no obstructive clip or hole it plugs into and there's not a space consuming base just to prop it up. The demon dogs came out great too (sorry for not taking pics myself). I kind of feel like these are scarier than the ones in the movie because in the movie they're obviously masks placed on some Rottweilers that didn't really enjoy having these things over their heads but on these figures they lose the rubber mask quality and just look like freaky monsters. Definitely recommend it to any other Freddy fans with my only note of gripe being to try and find one with good claws though this sentiment kind of goes for any Freddy Krueger figure nowadays.

Mine's pretty solid. The top heavy nature of how it sits means I can't wave him around while it's on but when standing still it works. Magnets can vary in quality just like most everything so I guess I got lucky on that. Maybe if you have a really good strong magnet you could try using it to strengthen this one but I don't know if the plastic around this one would damper the process.

went to a store in Tyler, TX called Dirt Cheap and found these there. everything in the store is about 10 - 90% off if i remember right. anyways these were near the 80% off toys but they rang up only 50% off, but then i told the guy where they were and that their signs were really kinda confusing (since it was my first time in there). so, after he explained to me how their signs worked, he gave them to me for 80% off both. so I only paid $4 (reg. $20) for the speeder bike and $10 for the deadpool (reg. $50). not a bad score imo! heh
edit: here's the link to their website and the store locations! and apparently, everything is between 30-90% off! saw big bags of halloween candy corns for only 25 cents but i said eww and passed lol so as far as my opinion goes....think of them as a somewhat cleaner goodwill, cuz everything there is out of whack and scattered! my ocd was going crazy in there haha http://www.ilovedirtcheap.com/ Last edited by tgbobafett; 02-06-2018 at 03:06 PM.. |
