^^ Nice.
And I know it's not real but man those poor pups. Guess that says a lot about the special effects and how amazing they still are today. |

Yeah I would say these are being cleared from the warehouse.
If I did not already have 4 pair of them I might have picked up more. Berry Rd TRU for any Arkers in the KC area. Untitled by Phantomcrow, on Flickr |

I did have a pretty productive day at NON TRU places. Got Mysterio from Vintage Stock, Cable from Gamestop, Tarkin from Target, and Bruce's 2nd autobiography from Books-A-Milion.
Untitled by Phantomcrow, on Flickr I am tempted to get some of these Incredibles Dolls from TRU, This First Meeting set is pretty cool, but I don't have the space. Untitled by Phantomcrow, on Flickr |

That is ooooold. SOTA Toys. Like 2005-2007? I only ever had their demon from American Werewolf, but it was pretty dope. Basically a statue, though.
As cool as the diorama is, I prefer the McFarlane Thing figures. I thought somebody was finally coming out with a modern MacCready in the past few years but I guess that never happened. |

picked up the 2nd wave of StrangerThings...
Things by lowanbing, on Flickr Things 2 by lowanbing, on Flickr Things 3 by lowanbing, on Flickr The Demogorgon is massive, very awesome figure- the kids suffer the same issue as the previous waves Eleven... weird articulation choices and the inability to sculpt feet with flat bottoms so them can stand easily... |

I have these except for the DG.
(nice pics by the way) i don't understand McFarlane he was WAYYYYYYY ahead of the game at one point....he's the reason action figures started to look so good... now it feels like he's stuck in time loop and CAN'T get his figures caught up sculpt and articulation-wise... shit...size too..

I don't think innovation was what he was after. He said, long ago, that he always thought toys should look a certain way and they never did, so he decided to make his own. Even the first couple years of doing figures he expressed a desire to make them look better, that even his releases weren't there yet. In doing so, he certainly did step the game up, but I think once they started to be what he thought they could be, he was happy.

i'm not shittin on the man's company..we owe him lots..and i have lots of McFarlane figs from back in the day.
I've see a lot of his face sculpts just NOT looks like who they are supposed to look like. i thought the likenesses and many of the (what was his sports line called) the nba players ..the faces were never quite right to me.

Friday the 13th is my lucky day
Found the entire forest dwelling hairy canadian nudist wave so I nabbed em. Left the 90’s Deadpool since i already have one opened. Picked up the Divas at a local comic/toy shop for dirt cheap so it was a good day.
