Got the Earthrise Wheeljack.
I'm biased because Wheeljack has always been my favorite Autobot who isn't named Optimus Prime but this figure knocks it out of the park. Each mode is a nigh perfect capture of his G1 rendition and then to top it off his vehicle mode's decal is loaded with nods and references to the franchise. I found that some parts click together a little too well in car mode which can make getting him back to bot form a tad tougher than it maybe should be but otherwise his transformation isn't too hard nor is it too easy as to be boringly plain and simple. All in all it's an awesome and much needed update since the last quality (non-MP) G1 Wheeljack we got was almost a decade ago now.

I never got that but I did watch some of it online and I really like that they actually made Wheeljack sound like Chris Latta's original version, really in general the game was a nice service to G1.

It's a ton of fun but pretty short.

I pre-ordered on Amazon as soon as it popped up on another collecting site. I can no longer depend on stores.

Got the black series Jedi Revan. As a repaint there's obviously not anything outstandingly new here but the differences besides paint are there and I like them. First off he doesn't have a cape like the Darth Revan did which makes this one a bit easier to pose and mess around with, and secondly the skirt piece is not worn and tattered while also feeling sturdier. Technically this figure isn't 100% accurate since in both KotOR and the Galaxy of Heroes game he doesn't have the ring-belt sash piece when this suit is in the Jedi color scheme but I actually really like its inclusion here since otherwise he'd just be entirely plain beneath the waist. The Darth Revan came with two lightsabers while this one only has his fancier hilt but the blade is a good pronounced purple. Overall a repaint I'm very happy to have even though it once again starts up the hope that we get more KotOR characters in the scale.

The Stepford Cuckoos. They could really use the "pinless technology" that Hasbro is coming out with. Otherwise great figures.

Good looking figure...a little worried about that pearlescent plastic from experience with other figures, but solid paint apps all around! |

Man...people have been killing it with their finds lately.
Early morning finds today. Have the deluxe Widow waiting for pickup as well...just need to grab her when I hit that store later today. |
