Now I do have a bit of a related rant. I have been checking my nearest Target for the exclusive Ripley for 6 weeks now, and I have seen absolutely no sign of the exclusive 40th anniversary wave. I even managed to travel to the next closest Target today and found nothing. What I find baffling is that a big retailer like Target can't get their own exclusives on the shelves, yet a small locally owned toy store can receive their own exclusives (in this case Brett and Parker), with no trouble at all and in decent quantity. If this is how bad it's going to be with Target, I can only imagine how much worse it will be when Ash and Kane come to Walmart in the fall.
Did pretty well for myself today I think...have yet to see the Cobra Trooper, but Beach Head was a hell of a consolation prize! Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 08-06-2020 at 06:25 PM.. |

I'm kinda hoping that the stroller that comes with the Action Fleet set will work with the Black Series figure. Unless someone beats me to it, I'll be sure to let you know when I get the chance! |

I assume you mean the Ripley with Jonesy and the cat carrier?? I've run into that Ripley a number of times these past 2 weeks. I can keep an eye out for you if you need one...

As for the The Child that comes in the set, it actually scales pretty well to the Black Series figure in size, though the head is a bit larger like I said earlier. While the Mission Fleet Child is only articulated at the head, the head can be easily removed and placed onto the Black Series figure if that's a look you desire. One thing of note, it does sit a bit high, so you might need to dremel the hole a little deeper onto the figure so the head sits lower, but it still can plug into the body as is with no modification. The main reason that it's worth picking up though...(besides getting a neat...albeit kid friendly Mando and Baby Yoda...) is that the set comes with The Child's stroller/crib pod...and since the figures are nearly the same size, the Black Series figure works almost perfectly with it! Just need to add a blankie. The shade on the pod even folds down to shield baby from the harsh sun's rays! Quote:
Not a problem though...good luck in your hunt. Remember...they mostly come at night…mostly! |

A big thanks to Starlord67 for hooking me up with the Walgreens Moon Knight. What a nice figure. Since the last MK figure is modern this one will be staying all white and old school.

5 minutes after my last post I received orders from Dorkside and BBTS.
Boba Fett is sensational with this metallic paint job. Warpath is damn good figure. He does need some knives. |

Not yet, I am re arranging a lot in my house and the rest of the SW black figures are in boxes so I just tossed Zeb on the pile with the last few waves of Black figures. I am hoping to be somewhat done in the next month so I can start un boxing stuff and getting it on shelves.

Found the Raw-10 Cy-Gor at Walmart. I think he's pretty damn cool for the price, he's impressively sized and then still well detailed in sculpt with nice clean paint apps too. He's minimally articulated but factoring the price, size, and intention of the line (that kids could play with this too) that doesn't bother me.

It's funny that on the Arashikage Symbol weapons rack, there're Japanese characters on the left and right of each bar, and it actually says "Storm" on the left and "Shadow" on the right.
I guess "Snake" and "Eyes" get lost in translation? |
