Looks like I have yet another order from Pulse to cancel. I just don't get them. Hasbro is losing tons of money by sitting on items.

Birthday haul! The Marvel and GI Joe figures are all great but I'll have more thoughts on them in the appropriate threads. There was a good stretch of time where I had given up on getting the Target Seekers pack, I only even really wanted Skywarp. That changed earlier this month when the set went in stock on their website and I finally nabbed one, this pushed me to pick up Starscream at Walmart since he was slightly on sale. I really like this Earthrise Seeker figure, the jet mode is fantastic and while not as articulated as most current voyager-class figures the robots still check off the boxes I wanted them to. I picked up Joker on impulse, every McFarlane Joker I'd found before this one had bad eyes. In hand I like this figure a lot more than I did from online reviews, besides looking better in hand it handles really well too. I'm hoping the upcoming Rebirth Joker they're making is at least as good. Finally I also stumbled across Baraka and Kitana and again impulse took over, I originally only planned on getting Baraka and even then I wasn't certain. These handle much more like the MK11 Spawn than the earlier figures in the line, which is good. I did have to straighten Baraka's left blade with a hairdryer but that was the only QC bump I ran into. I'm happy to have them and I'm really looking forward to Shao Kahn next.

How much were they? Just curious because I want to pick some toys up for Toys for Tots donations.

Today I got the NECA King Kong. For under $25 this figure is very impressive. He's quite big at 8" tall when upright, pretty comparable to most recent Marvel Legends BAFs. The sculpt and paint details are top-notch. He's loaded with articulation and I had very little problem getting everything to move, some joints were a bit stiff fresh out of the box but no heating was required to loosen them. Swapping the different heads and hands was very easy. He has no accessories beyond the alternate parts but at the asking price and considering the figure's size it evens out.

Patience paid off and I finally pulled the trigger on MP Starscream after my local Target clearanced him down to just 42 dollars! Found a couple of other goodies today as well.

I gotta give credit to Brickseek and Popfindr on this weeks hunt. Would not have been able to track down this weeks haul without them. Hit up about 6 or 7 Targets hunting, I lost track.
White Black Widow, 15$ on clearance. X-Man 10$ on clearance Probe Droid 15$ on clearance Jet Trooper 10$ on clearance and apparently all the Targets in my area restocked the Galaxy's Edge figures this Wednesday. Had to hit a few stores to catch a Hondo and the Mountain Troopers, but was able to finish out the GE figures until they release Pyre. Also picked up another Tech Deck set with the Picnic Table. Sadly no Beachhead restock. Untitled by Phantomcrow, on Flickr P.S. Saw quite a few Targets that had the Masterpiece Movie Starscream for 75$. Quote:

My ordered arrived from Dorkside. Anakin's head sculpt and paint apps are off. Obi-wan id good. Maul is fantastic. He is one of my favorite villains.

^ Every Anakin I saw at my Target had messed up faces... there were 4 of them too... all had bad faces. I think maybe sometimes the face printing technique is not that good for 3.75" scale figs. All the Obi-wans were fine though... all the Mauls were sold out.
