Seriously - WHAT is UP with the gun accessories that they gave ROC Joes/Cobra's? They all have that fat lightsaber gun thing like he's pointing at the dog in the above photo... I've seen blue/red/green/&purple...
What in the heck is it supposed to be? Such a lifelike figure, but then this is thrown in as a joke?

I've been looking for awhile too, and surprisingly found it at a TRU of all places. They hadn't restocked that place in over a month. Just good timing I guess.

Found these today at TRU. They had the whole set but I couldn't afford them all. It was hard to decide, but I finally picked these two sets. I'll have to go back and get the rest before they are gone. I love them!

I'd love to get the one with the Marshmallow Man... And the Slimer too. Any Bill Murray figure will suffice. Those look awesome!

I finally picked up an ROC Snake Eyes, but after two targets, a TRU, and walmart having nothing. I just settled on the mouthed black one. =/
I guess I'm going to end up with 3 of him even if I meant to only get 1. His Paris pursuit is sweet, I have the mouth one now, and I also want the resolute one. xD I gotta say, even the spring loaded missles are pretty fun. As lame as they look, they really pack an oomph. Kudos to them for the high play value without overbearing kung fu action feature kicks or chops! Last edited by Snowflakian; 07-10-2009 at 10:23 AM.. |

I couldn't help myself. I actually bought ROC Cobra Commander today. I saw him on the peg and picked him up. The only one they had. Oh, he'll never truly be Cobra Commander in my heart. Just some crazy, f***ed up Dr. Mindbender trying to make Serpentor experiment gone-wrong but he was intelligent enough to keep around or something.
I can appreciate the creepiness of the organic looking, clear mask. I don't think it's a bad design, necessarily. I just think it's a bad design for Cobra Commander. Pretty cool figure, though. I also picked up some Joe stuff on clearance. Specifically a Tiger Rat, finally, and the Resolute 5-pack. Again, finally. Both together cost less than a ROC small-ass vehicle. Wow, I had this action figure when I was a kid... he had many of serious battles with Darth Vader... They were the same size and build as the old school star war figures. Use to have him help Luke and Han all the time! LOL
I remember another figure (maybe from the same line?) .. he was a warrior type of guy, had like a brown cloak/dress outfit, a brown helmet with a black mo-hawk type of spike coming out of it, and a beard.... anyway, I always teamed him up with the darkside and he was this Perseus guys main arch-rival...

Knight Rider bikes FTW! I shall call him M.I.T.T.A.N.S. (Mildly Intelligent Transportation That Answers Nothing Seriously.) Hmm, logan and his bike compatriot Mittans. That just works so well. xD Aww, poor wolvie, he's gone and lost his Mittans... (Snake Eyes jacked him for it.) But in all seriousness because of the price, and amount of plastic and detailing on the bike, it may as well count as one. Last edited by Snowflakian; 07-27-2009 at 11:47 AM.. |

I just found the Target Exclusive Snake-Eyes and cycle tonight!
I was holding out for this figure and I'm stoked to have found it a couple days before the reset. I am, however, sad that inside the Mars briefcase is just a little flyer about the GI Joe chase. Also in more cool news, I managed to find my much-wanted ROC Firefly. |

Nice pics of Biker Snake!
I got the Paris Pursuit version earlier in the week and I'm still debating about whether to open him or not. Firefly will definitely be opened, along with the rest of my haul this evening:

Paris Pursuit is a lot of fun, but as I'm sure you're like me, waiting for the Rescue Mission set and the City Strike SE, I'd just keep him in package if you're having trouble deciding.
Nice finding the new TF wave! I really want that Nightbeat and Ejector looks like a lot of fun. |
