So from the look of them the Elite from the Disney store seem to be more in scale with stuff in the Diamond/Marvel Select figures scale. Maybe a little closer to the NECA 1/7 scale??

I was lucky that the midnight sale at Walmart had only me and two others shopping. One of which was an employee on his break to buy some goodies. I had the day off so ran around to see what I could find. I count it a good day even though I missed out on Captain Phasma figures.

i would have to disagree. retailers may be cleaned out of the action figures.. but none of them seemed to have enough stock to please everyone.. hell, a lot of them only had enough to please 2 people. that's awful for such a big, heavily promoted event.
i read somewhere that hasbro wasn't prepared for this to be such a big deal and weren't able to supply retailers with enough stuff. if that's true, i think they and the retailers missed out on a much much bigger day. they're working now. great haul. |

NECA is in 7" scale which is pretty much 1/10 scale, not 1/7 which would be more like 10" scale.

i read somewhere that hasbro wasn't prepared for this to be such a big deal and weren't able to supply retailers with enough stuff. if that's true, i think they and the retailers missed out on a much much bigger day. I was really speaking more to my specific area but I do agree that some were not prepared. For example, my local TRU only receiving one case of Black Series was a missed opportunity. On the other side though, my local Target and multiple Walmarts started with huge supplies and now have nothing left, I think they would call that a success. Should some have bought more? Maybe so but then at some point they decide the risk of how many peg warmers or dead stock they want to discount and we know they have been burned before, slave Leia, Obi Wan. Now with that said, I don't think Star Wars is a huge gamble for them and don't see it ending with stock like Phantom Menace did but when you think about how much they are buying for each store in a nationwide event for an unreleased movie I don't think we were going to get perfect. Trust me I am the guy frustrated every time we have an exclusive or event that employees don't seem to know enough about but I think overall Hasbro and most retailers are probably happy with the results from the figure sales and it should drive us getting more figures for the next year. I do hate it for anyone that missed out especially those that because of location didn't have a participating local store. I had to deal with it for many years before I moved from a lower population area and even though online retailers had much of these figures and toys still stocked into early yesterday nothing is like finding it in the wild. |

^ great pickups darktoylord!
I found bowser at TRU last night and my daughter really wanted peach at Fred Meyers today so I figured I might as well get her to go along with bowser. I guess peach will have to wait with her captor until I snag a luigi. Gotta give the green plumber some credit too. I just need to find a starfox now as I found a perfect ship for him. |

That's where I found the phantom attack shuttle and all the Rebels vehicles are there for pretty cheap (like $15 or less I think). Seen some TF, legends, and MU there sometimes too. |
