So this is my first post on these forums ever! Finally decided to join the fun instead of just read it for months, ha!
So onto the point of this post! My daily stop at target on lunch break found me: Moon Knight, Jean Grey, Sunfire, Vision variant, and the unmasked Wolverine from the same set yesterday. I also seen the target exclusive 2-packs that have been around forever had been reduced (not even clearance!) to only $3.24 per 2-pack! I had not picked up any of these previously, but decided to grab all but the spider-man/green goblin one. No reason not to at that price! 6 figures for under $10! And they had plenty more! |

Nice Mu figures everbody, great hauls/nice finds, in response to ersico's post, I have a full sleeve on my right arm that was started last year and due to time/$$ I've only got about half it done, it has some comic work, Ashley wood inspired with a mini army of bertie bots being controlled by a cartoonish version of me driving a large bertie bot.. My birthday is a couple weeks away and planning to get toys and more work done. as much as I can get done.
Pics of Me by blackmarkerstain on deviantART theres 3 pics of it,the 1st 2 are the ones showing the complete part, my lower forearm, I have from about the elbow to top of my should left to do.. between 8-13hrs left.. so we'll see how much I get done, will post an update pic. |

At our last toyshow here someone was selling that exact goliath and iron man 2 pack. He had picked it up on clearance at wal-mart and clearly had no other MU figures, so his price of $5 made me almost cry on the spot. He said it had been opened and the comic had been removed and that's why the low price. But the comic was intact, just behind the board insert. The figures had never been touched. So cool.

Just found (and bought) a Hot Wheels BTTF Time Machine! I didn't think Mattel had the rights to 1:64th-scale vehicles for BTTF.
(Forgive the cell phone pics, it's all I have on me atm)

holy shit dude u hit the jackpot, I love it when you find an isle or peg on clearance and it's shit you collect and you have enough $$ to buy a bunch... when it all comes together like that it's awesome, amazing scores. Tough luck on the retail for the others but your savings at the first place definately helped compensate for the extra $$ . I came across wolverine origins for like 2-3$ a piece and picked up a bunch of stuff nearly the whole line, minus cyclops for like $25.

Phasing Vision @ TRU...finally ! lol - looks as though ALOT of Secret War packs are being replenished at WM Target TRU, have yet to seen revised waves...all need for now is archangel & warpath variants..and whenever that new wave hits stores..smh..I MUST say...I really hate it when the lackadaisical cashier grabs the card like she/he only has eagle talons for hands !! wtf...then I say "please handle with care"..they look at me like really ? YES really !

That's the trouble with being a MOC collector, not only do u have to hunt for the figures you're collecting but you also have to find 1 with packaging that's mint and once that deed is done you have to leave the store past the hands of little kids and cashiers and stay mint.. hard job sometimes... that's why I prefer opening my toys, because packaging is cool and nice but I can't play with the cardboard, the same as the figure.. and takes up less space then being left in box.

I live in a 1 bedroom apt with my gf, space is limited, I already have a container worth of figures in a tub as I have no room for display, my others are stored withing my 3 shelf display case or on top, ... I love looking at them and moving/repositiong / taking pics so opening make sence to me. I do understand that it takes away from over all value, and over time could be kicking myself for opening this figure or that 1, but I'm not into it to be making a ton of $$ just collect what I like and share it with anybody who enjoys it. I keep some figures moc, local dealer has sdcc thor, spiderman and cap set aside for me and I will keep them moc as per the raritiy and trouble getting them.
