Awesome! The Tortured Souls line is what got me back into collecting toys again after a long hiatus.

It's an awesome line. I recently started buying Neca Hellraiser figures (can be seen on a previous page on here) so I decided to collect the Tortured Souls line because they're so similar since Clive Barker made both.

I had initially planned on waiting a while before picking up the Scarif Stormtrooper Squad Leader, but, over the past few days, I've spotted dozens and dozens of the Wal-Mart exclusive Scarif Stormtrooper, and now, it seems like the Squad Leader is going to be the hard-to-find version, so I decided to pick him up before he potentially becomes too hard to find.
This Lorelai Gilmore Pop was an unexpected surprise ! I thought that I was going to have to wait until January or February for this series to arrive ! I just finished the new GG Netflix series a couple days ago, and now I'm re-watching the original from the beginning, so this Pop couldn't have arrived at a better time I don't know if this Ecto-1, from the new Wal-Mart exclusive Ghostbuster line, is ridiculously short-packed or if the scalpers have ravenously snagged them all. I've only seen two Ecto-1s, while I've seen dozens of every other vehicle in that series. Granted, the other vehicles in that series mostly look terrible, aside from the Bread Box truck with the huge Slimer deco.

Hey All!
Had to show off a great find I snagged yesterday. Christmas shopping at TRU yesterday at Toys R Us, i found a Marvel Legends 3 pack ( minus the Vision) for only $10! $5 for each Sam Wilson Captain America and Kate Bishop Hawkeye! Considering up here in Toronto, that 3 pack is $90 and I had zero intent on picking it up at that price (yes I know it comes out to roughly the same price if i were to buy 3 Marvel Legends, but the sticker price is too much) so when I saw it for only $10 bucks i got it for the 2 figures I actually wanted from that set. Ok so on to the others...crappy Mattel Halo figs, only got them cuz they were marked down to half price. As much as I was gonna pass over them I'm a sucker for Halo figures. Meh. My general dislike of Mattel action figures aside, I"m really meh on these guys. They don't scale with my McFarlane figures (which I knew going in). The pop on/off armor concept is pretty cool, but my pieces don't really stick where they're supposed to go. So I'm kinda meh. There was no way I was going to pick these up at regular price, but even at half price I'm regretting picking up 2. Picked up Icon Aquaman on Black Friday when my LCS had them at 30% off. Love the Icon line. But I'm definitely cherry picking that one. Was still on the fence for the Power Ranger line, till I saw the Kimberly figure. Now I gotta track down the other ones lol. Oh yeah and the little Flash guy I got, he was like 3 bucks at HMV and he was the last one and he was just staring at me on the shelf. Oh yeah and DEADPOOL!! and Wolverine as a bonus! Once I actually got the Deadpool and Wolverine, I grabbed Rogue and Kitty as well. Will eventually grab the whole line, but I got the important ones that I wanted. Also saw the lone Scarlet Witch at a Wal Mart and couldn't leave her there. |

BBTS once again delivers great packaging of the GI Joe toys. It cannot get more mint than this! As for the Spider-Man figures, I bought from Walgreens for 12 bucks each. The Multiverse ones are from Salvation Army Store for 3 bucks each.

It really is a quite nice 4" intergalactic freelance peacekeeping agent, yes?
Death's Head has gotten to be involved in 3 popular "nerdy" franchises and yet few people are aware of him, it's a real shame. Edit: actual pickup; I finally found the color tops Kait at a TRU. Pretty much the same deal as JD. Good sculpt and accessories but some ridiculously useless articulation. The entire upper body's articulation is relatively okay and useful but the legs' articulation is just not needed. Both knees have a swivel/hinge combo but neither offers any help or options for display since the rest of the legs are pretty much frozen in a running pose. The left knee can't even hinge any further than where it is in box and it barely moves any more back either. I expected about as much though. The base does a good job of standing her even with only one foot touching the ground so that's a comfort. I had to look through a few of these though to find one with both eyes done well and they all had some errors with her arm tattoo. Still as a big Gears fan I'm pleased with it for the staction figure that it is.

I'm not very lucky with the Icons figs: Green Arrow's arms are very loose, and I thought I purchased a Green Lantern fig, but it's Arm-Fall-Off-Boy in a GL costume, the cut at the gloves on both arms are not staying in place & are falling just by looking bad at the figure...
Also, the BAF parts lot I get for the Phoenix stand, the parts are mostly for trade/sell. |

Has anyone spotted the NECA Ripley/Newt 2 pack yet? I haven't seen them anywhere, yet they were supposed to ship at the same time as the Predator Clan Leader and Scarface, both of which I've seen in stores.

Just picked this off Chraigslist for $50 everything from a old lady.
I have no idea what helmet or gun or swords and clothing goes with which 12 inch, there are so many items. My favorite pick-up of the lot is this Sky Striker with all accessories and is in impossible condition. I also have some more vehicles from the pick-up too but they are loose ones but still good. |
