Thanks Tim and lordbest!
Lordbest great score on the Dr. Strange wave! This was a surprise arrival on my doorstep today!! Was super psyched to to see it as I wasn't expecting it for like another month or so!! I want to say I absolutely love it...but....when it's in a standard pose it looks weird with the arms sticking out as much as they do. Once you start posing him tho, it all changes. The amount of articulation is worth it and it becomes a much better figure than when it's just in a standing pose. |

My Walmart finally clearanced the Cap wave more than just a few bucks off so I finally decided to suck it up and build Onslaught instead of waiting to say if he'll ever be reasonable on eBay. It wasn't as cheap as it would be if any of my Gamestops had the wave but they just had the Allfather and Dormammu waves, still I got all 7 figures and of course Onslaught for $90 so that is certainly not bad. I am very pleased with Onslaught himself. The articulation is admittedly limited in just about every category but his stature and presence are very redeeming for me. Onslaught's not a guy that gets that much attention (for legitimate reasons, despite being a "cool" villain he's very shallow and generally overpowered) so I'm actually pretty thrilled to finally have a figure of him. As for the seven it took to make this happen my feelings are more mixed but ultimately positive. Cottonmouth is a toy that I never wanted and still don't really care for but he is actually solid as a toy and I like having heroes kick him around. Whirlwind is solid but while I like his colors a more shiny/metallic green (like his MU figure) would've been preferred. Scourge is good all around and I had fun imagining he was Solid Snake sneaking through Shadow Moses as I posed him but his design is kinda generic, almost like he's just a goon. Sharon is easily the weakest figure but at the same time she's not terrible so there's that, I wish they had just given her flat feet instead of heels and her space-gun looks stupid to me. Captain America is well done and I like finally having a classic Cap in this scale but some of his paint is sloppy/smeary and his straight hand's fingers are crazy thin. Mockingbird is fine but if I didn't already like her character I'd have to say she's unremarkable. Finally Kitty is actually a figure I was thinking about picking up on her own just because it's her but now I finally had an excuse to actually make the purchase.

So these showed up out of nowhere. I admittedly don't keep up on much Power Rangers news but I had not even heard about a 6 inch Legacy Movie line. Totally exclusive to TRU. I just saw series 3 was coming so I can finish my original rangers crew, but those were the only ones I was collecting. I hope I don't regret passing on these until after the new movie. Looks like a case is 1 full set of 6, no doubles.

Walgreen's are stocking these pretty well. Passed on Yondu (which I will get later), Star Lord, and Darkhawk...but couldn't for the life of me pass on Angela!

Been trying for these all week. Missed them at toysrus.com and they were no shows at my toysrus locations.....until today. The second location had held a full case for me. There were a lot of collectors out for these today. Maybe because of the buy one get one half off,but once I had these in hand,I left the store pretty quick. $90 for the whole set was a deal! These are exclusive to toysrus and do say limited edition on them. I don't know if they will become easier to find or not. But I suggest if you are on the fence and find them on sale, jump.

Mostly Wal-Mart, where the store managers not only decide on what goes on clearance, but have items from the previous season grouped in with the newer stuff....causing exactly this situation. Very YMMV with it and it's the exception in most cases.
I'm getting my movie Legacy figures in the mail on Wednesday. Can't wait. They look awesome! |

OH MY GOD, LOOK WHAT I FINALLY FOUND!!!! And two no less!!
Hopefully this means they will start becoming easier to find so I can get more. Oh, and I didn't buy them, but since I know there are PR fans here, I did see these today which were kind of cool:

Finally got them....
Been avoiding collecting the Spider-Man "baddies" for years now. Didn't want the financial and time (hunting) commitments in acquiring them. We did get a few last year as local stores carried the new re-branded Marvel Legends 3.75" figures, and as a sort of thank you for them carrying them, I bought all of those waves in person in a brick and mortar shop. Fast forward to post holiday January. Got the bug for some new plastic, came across some great deals... and here they are. Gave them to my son as a Valentine's Day present, as the 1994 ToyBiz playset arrived that very day.
