Homemade costume Spidey arrived from Amazon today and I am very happy with it. Some more hand options would've been great but as is it's still nice.

I had to grab the Toys r Us MicroMachines set, it was in a clearance area and scanned in at $.03. I couldn't believe it when i got to the register and they actually sold it to me for three cents...

As much as I despise these films, every time there is a new movie, I end up getting at least one of these guys. This time, it was Megatron's turn...
I think the pricing for these has gotten completely out of hand, but Megatron is a really sweet figure. Well painted, light piped, very well articulated with much of it cleverly hidden, and he's beastly. I really wanna get the leader class when he drops, although I might be just satisfied with him, and may even try fudging him into my regular collection. My TRU finally got in the Predator 30th anniversary figures and the Alien Covenant figures so I made some pick-ups. I was having a little internal debate about whether I would go with "patrol" or "encounter" Dutch but I went with "encounter" because that's the more iconic between the two for me, mainly because of the "get to the chopper" line. Anyway it's an awesome figure and both ones in the store had pretty great paint. The jungle disguise Dutch is the most unique Dutch offered in this assortment and it represents the point in the movie when things are looking up for our man, he's his most macho as he sets up those last traps out of scratch. The paint and sculpt work on the figure are stellar and his accessories are pretty much ultimate level for the look, if they had thrown in a screaming head from when he called out to the Predator that would have really made this an ultimate figure. I have not seen Alien Covenant but I am too big a fan of the xenomorphs to not get this. It's a cool toy on its own right and thankfully it is nowhere near as blue as the initial promo pics showed it being, specifically regarding the veins. It has an impressive full standing height of 10.5" but I needed a base to do that. I'm still not a fan of how the design on this one steers away from biomechanical but it retains enough of the original elements for me to like it.

Are there no rules for quoting giant walls of images here? I used the ignore function because those Flickr images are murder, but I still see them in quotes. Its cool if thats just how it is here, but I may have to dip.
