Got some goodies from BBTS today:
First up is the ultimate Gremlin. The accessories with this thing are just freaking fantastic. I really like that they represent both the bar and the movie theater, just great stuff all around. The figure itself then is another hit from NECA. The sculpt is on point and paired with the well applied paint it really captures the scaly, leathery details of the creatures from the original movie. Some of the joints were a bit stiff out of the box but nothing so bad that it felt like it would break getting it free, not like the old days. Awesome figure and I eagerly await Stripe who should be arriving sometime next week. Next up is the Pale Man. Pan's Labyrinth is one of my all-time favorite films, the world that Guillermo Del Toro crafted in that movie was just so eerie and macabre while still having its own beauty of the fantastical kind. Before NECA announced their GDT series I always thought the chances of getting figures of those creatures was just a far off pipe-dream of mine. Except now NECA did it, and so it's a dream come true for me. This thing is perfect, just a masterpiece in my books. All of the articulation was moving right out of the box with no fuss whatsoever while still retaining a good level of tightness. He can sit or stand (yes he can stand on his own), the torso has multiple ball-joint type joints, the neck then also has multiple ball-joints, and the arms are full of articulation. For a figure of a bony stick man he's surprisingly well put together. I'm not sure I can praise the sculpt and paint work enough on this figure. It's almost haunting to look at, like he crawled his way out of the damn screen. The throne came out really impressive for a chair. The sculpt and paint really do lend it the appearance of carved wood and the padding on the seat and back are nice, even the bottom is sculpted which just shows dedication. He also includes the plate with his eyeballs, it's well done and I'd rather have it included than not so it's really just extra gravy. I love this thing so much that I just took the time to write out all of this. I don't think NECA will see this post but goddammit I gotta say thank you so much for making this happen. The Faun can't come soon enough.

The pale man, from the neck down, looks like the old lady ( obviously paler haha ) from theres something about mary that kevin dillon saw through the binoculars. Now THAT would truly be a horror figure neca should make.

I have become a fan of Seth MacFarlane all of a sudden (have you heard the guy SING?) and am watching, listening and buying stuff. Magazines, DVDs, CDs, even a cardboard Seth
And Ted. As long as I can't get Ed Mercer from "The Orville", Ted will have to do. This is the Revoltech Ted from the movie “Ted 2″. There is also one by Figma but he is much smaller and comes with less accessories and joints. I chose this one as it is in scale with my other figures. He comes with some nice accessories but can’t sit on his own so he needs that clear thing. The eyebrows are movable and you can put up several different expressions. After seeing a few of the black series archive IG-88s in person the past few times I've been out shopping in general I was really disappointed with Hasbro's over-application of the gold coloring. At Walmart last night I found one that actually pretty much looked right, I don't know if there's a new running change to cut back on the gold or if I got one that was mistakenly correct but I picked him up anyway.

I saw him in the wild....but to me hes the sw black equivalent of rocket racoon from the first gotg wave ( hell even the 2nd release. ), kinda cool to have but nowhere near worth the asking price do to serious artic and size limitations. ( hes not short but just not wirth 20 plus bucks ).

My Ted is standing 9 cm / 3,5" without ears. I think the Figma one is only 5 cm which would make him about 2". In youtube review videos you can also measure by the size of the hands of the guys holding him. The Figma one comes with different arms / paws and legs for different poses and so he can sit better but has no elbow joints. Is there a figure of the AI kid? Quote:

Local toy store actually got new Legends in, including the Captain Marvel wave. Which I was very tempted to get but it's $70 more for the whole wave than if I bought it online.
