Just got Ax Battler and he's awesome. Storm Collectibles has done it again! I'm hoping Tyris Flare is next, but knowing Storm it'll probably be Death Adder. Having said that, I'm selling the Red Dragon (and fireball) for space reasons. PM me if interested. |

Got the Hasbro Egon and overall it certainly doesn't disappoint. In hand the likeness is pretty great, not necessarily 100% Harold Ramis but it definitely hits close to the mark. The rest of the figure is painted decently enough and the articulation is the typical good stuff Hasbro has been putting out although the lower hinge on mine's left elbow was seriously stuck so I had to use a hairdryer to loosen it. The accessories are on the light side of things with just his proton pack and a PKE meter. The Proton pack is detailed well enough in both sculpt and paint and the wand/gun plugs onto the side easily enough for storage but it's also a nice feature that the entire piece is removable just to have the option for display or if they ever make an Ecto-1. The PKE meter is sculpted well enough but is pretty lacking in paint, and then it can be attached to his belt for storage but its "wings" are sculpted out/open like it's active and in use so storing it on the belt looks a little strange. For the price though and considering my only nitpicking is with one small accessory it's a good toy.

Went to Target for the first time in a while and got the exclusive Black Widow. As a fun bonus I tested it and the smoking barrel effect pieces also work with Hasbro's McCree from their Overwatch line.

Since I was happy with my Egon figure I went ahead and got Winston too. The head features a good likeness to Ernie Hudson and the little smile does fit the character pretty well. The rest of the figure then is just the same as Egon but with appropriate areas repainted (like the name-patch or his neck), but since these are toys of them in their jumpsuits they get away with sharing parts. The only accessory included is the proton stream attachment but it is a pretty cool effect piece and it plugs on the end of the wand pretty easily.
