I have all the gijoes except the gijoe trooper w/ blue and the blue cobra commander. All the stores around me are just dukes and roadblocks now. But yeah i passed up on that horrible dark knight mm 2 pack, bane looks straight up awful.

Yeah bro, I haven't even seen a full section of Joes. I was able to pick up a Zartan the other day at WM Raynham. I'd like to pick up some red ninjas but the lack of selection and 9.99 price tag are turning me off. I feel like people who wouldn't regularly buy Joes are getting them because of the movie snafu. Eather that or the lack of product for the last year has caused a feeding frenzy with these movie figs. I think i will do what I did with the first movie figures: pick them up on clearence come Christmas time.

Retaliation Joes are a hot ticket for Joe collectors and resellers. the Red Ninjas cross the line and appeal to Marvel collectors as well, making them even hotter in demand. aside from the screws on their legs, they are outstanding figures.
remember they will all be re-released when that movie finally launches. whats happening now is the "i gotta have it" frenzy, which is very commonplace in our hobby. Rockblock, SS, SE, Duke will be pegwarmers because that's their inherent nature. |

ugh, that Spider Man and his Amazing Friends boxset was 20 dollars at TRU, I passed up for Classic Ms. Marvel thinking she'd be of worth.
Since then Firestar has been the hardest figure to find, and I still dont have her. |

Winners up here had Heimdall sprouting like weeds a few months back and some still have him kicking around, and for $7.99. Zellers usually has Heimdall but at $17.99 it's not a good deal once shipped. Do you mean the deluxe Frost Giant or the normal one? I've seen lots of both up here but I think they are all gone. I know Wal-Mart had a ton before they went clearance. If you mean King Laufey, I've never seen him in person.

Passed up Movie Lizard, black Cobra Commander and the rest of the GI Joe figs... I don't want to spring on those yet, though SS would make an excellent base for custom Tron Legacy Daft Punk figures. The upper bodies are nearly identical.

Is anyone looking for the Retaliation 3-pack with the Red Ninja and SS/SE? They have them "on sale" up here but it's still $25.

My walmart has had a constant warm shelf of 5x iron man, 1 cap and a thor I took back because part of his costume was missing. Going on 2 weeks now but nothing new.

I see more and more of that Retaliation line now and I pass every time. The only figures I wanted from that line were Red Ninja and the GI Joe Trooper.

Passed on YJ Artemis and RedArrow at Marshalls for $14.99
They also had last year's Spiderman 6inch line for $7.99 I think. Some DotM Transformers Voyagers and Deluxes, nothing I don't have already. |
