Eh, not a fan of Doc Ock's USM cartoon design. Then again, I grew up on his bowl cut look, so there's definitely a bias there.
Quote:
Possibly, though it isn't because new waves of other lines are coming in, but because the new lines are taking up shelf space that at one time was occupied by MU/ML. Another part of it is simply lower sales of MU/ML, due to pegwarmers and stock not being low enough to order more.

No pics (man, I gotta get better at remembering to take 'em)but I was at one of my LCS's that I haven't visited in about, oh, 8 years, I believe. seriously, not ONE visit in all that time. Anyways, I guess a customer was having the shop sell his carded ML's for him on consignment, and I almost shat myself when I saw 'em. they had:
Phasing Vision Mid Transformation Ghost Rider War Machine (Galactus wave, not the ultimate one) Kitty Pride Taskmaster Unmasked Green Goblin Phoenix (both red and green costume variants) Ultimate Captain America (standard, not the variant with the head wings) Scarlet Witch (not a good figure, IMO, but still pretty rare.) and a BUNCH of others. and the best part is that they were pretty reasonably priced for their age and rarity. If any of you Arkers happen to live in the Ann Arbor/ Ypsilanti area (in Michigan) the name of the shop is Stadium Cards and Comics.

I don't do much of the minimates, just a few here and there over the years like Heralds of Galactus, KITT and KARR, Marty and the Delorian, 90's era x men, few Halo ones. Just who ever I like.

Saw another one of the LOTR Lego sets out early at TRU.
This set is awesome with the King of the Dead, and the Pirate of Umbar figure is Peter Jackson's character from the Extended Cut of ROTK :-) Also saw the SW Vintage ENDOR AT-AT for the first time. Also noticed that the At-At driver has black boots and gloves instead of the normal White/Grey ones. |

Saw another new lego LOTR set today.
The horrible new Wolverine 3.75 in figures. Also saw this Superman General Zod in Shackles figure. He is the same as the first release but with the arm shackles and a big scar across his face. Also saw the new TRU exclusive versions of the Select Star Trek figures Last edited by Phantomcrow; 06-05-2013 at 08:15 PM.. |

Also saw something I never even knew existed, and still had no desire to buy them , but Pirates of the Caribbean : On Stranger Tides series 2 ?!!?. Found at a discount scratch and dent store. 3 new figures ( Spanish Officer, Philip, and Pirate Barbossa w/ peg leg) and 2 reissues of Blackbeard and Jack but with a whole new BAF, which I think is the best looking figure of the line, the Quartermaster.

Oh wow. I was really hoping that the pictures from BBTS were just a bit distorted to get a clear view, but obviously I was being too hopeful. I guess to echo a thread already made: "What the Hell, Hasbro?"

Saw more new Monster High, this time the Music Festival line.
I may get the Venus, but not for TRU price. Also saw and passed on the Pacific Rim figures. Might get them later , they seem ok, but will wait until I see the movie to decide on figures. I kinda wish the Gipsy Danger figure was more dark grey than blue steel on the paint. Pictures he looks grey but in person he looks more blue to me. TRU here has had them on clearance for 40 something but it's still too much for me to be interested. Sucks cause the constant sales don't apply to clearance stuff and they never mark it down past that. I feel like it would have to be less than 30 and then I would stash it away for the kid when he is older.
