Wow, Phantomcrow ! Your TRU is very well stocked! The TRU in my area is awful, by comparison.
I went there today looking for the new X-Men Marvel Legends, NECA's classic PotA figures, and the new GI Joes, but didn't have any luck at all. I'd been on the fence about the Classic movie turles, but I wasn't impressed with those at all once I saw them in person. I came to terms with the lack of a rubbery feel to the skin, and the absence of the realistically detailed speckling, like the original TMNT movie figures had, but seeing the sloppily painted googly eyes on so many of them killed my desire to snag any of those. Oh well, I'll just put that money towards the comic style turtles that Playmates has planned for the upcoming year. Last edited by Frank Richards; 07-31-2014 at 12:46 PM.. |

Yeah, I wish the movie turtles had the details they had on film, but I can live with them. I have no alternative for 6in scale. I want the turtles to hang out with NECA stuff, Marvel Legends, and SW Black figures :-) Yeah I had to look over all the movie figures cause of the eyes paint jobs were off. I want a movie Shredder, but I know that will never happen.

New Monster High Sweet Screams series 2 and Freaky Fusions singles Star Wars Black 6 in Jabba and Speeder Bike (also saw them at TRU) TMNT Turtle Blimp in person And the new Half Shell Turtles. They are cute as hell. Must resist..... And the new Hero Mashers of "Silver Centurion" Iron Man and Bucky Cap w/ bikes. |

I can't believe those Half Shell Heroes are out already. Those are amazing! I amassed quite the collection of Super Hero Squads back in the day...I can't wait to get my hands on some of these guys! |

Ran into sooo much good stuff today....was hard to pass on all of it...
I know I'm gonna be kicking myself over this one later on.... Being a huge fan of these types of figures (Super Hero Squad...oh how I miss you!) I was excited to see these guys out. I'll be definitely grabbing them in the future! I can't wait to see how the villain packs and Sewer Base sets turn out! Still haven't been able to find the Scarah Screams/Toralei fusion figure for my GF...but I did find Neighton....the Zombie...Unicorn? Creepy. I also ran into a lot of the SDCC exclusives at TRU tonight, including Sunstorm (which I placed on lay-a-way) and Prowl, the 1990 TMNT movie collection, Han/Greedo Black two pack, and the G.I.Joe Danger at the Docks set, but was unable to snag any pictures. |

I don't even get WWE figures and I almost bought that Andre The Giant TWICE today :-)
I did see 2 or 3 of that Toralei/Scarah Fusion at a couple Targets today. Still pretty sure she is 2 per case. Keep checking those Targets. I did finally see 1 Target got a case of the New Scaremester with Invi Billy today also. |

I'm WAAAYYY over my discretionary income budget for the month, so I passed on him, but I may have to deviate from my budget and pick him up when I hit up TRU again next week. |

I saw a couple of Kamen Rider and Sailor Moon Figuarts figures at my LCS today, and I was blown away by those figures !!!
They reminded me of Microman figures, just larger and more detailed. I've always heard great things about the Figuarts figures, but I can't recall ever seeing any in person before. I'm not a fan of Kamen Rider, and I don't like Sailor Moon enough to spend $40 on a figure, but I'm going to do some research into that line and see what other characters are available. |

Saw a bunch of new stuff last night during my "rounds". Sorry for the lack of pics, but my phone was dead while I was running around and it won't charge when my car's off.
Anyway, the Target, Walmart and TRU I stopped at had the Half-Shell Heroes. At that same Target I saw that giant-ass X-Wing, which made me both impressed and saddened. I love the size, but it's useless to me if I can't put a pilot in the cockpit. Other sightings at Target: a lone Jakks Mario figure. Other sightings at Walmart: 6" SWBS Bespin Luke, ANH Han and ROTS Obi-Wan; and DCMV Reeve Superman. Other sightings at TRU: new Imaginext triceratops, stegosaurus and T-Rex (even more cartoonish-looking than before); Rescue Bots electronic Optimus Primal; 6" Bowser and DK from Jakks; GOTG Minimates (why is there no Gamora?!); new COD zombie 5-pack (Epidemic?), bike mini-set and a GTAM rack mini-set. There's all kinds of IPs that Figuarts covers, so you'll probably find something in there that sparks your interest. But definitely check out online reviews first, just in case.

How long have they been available at Canadian Walmarts? Because the ones here in the US are just now starting to carry the 6" Black Series.
At that price I might actually break down and buy a Leia and Greedo.

I'm just hearing that. Walmart up here has had Black series since wave one first shipped. If you are interested in Leia or Greedo I could try to pick one up for you. I'm leaving in the morning for Arizona and don't know it I'll have the time to stop by on the way to the airport but I don't imagine shipping would cost too much from in the States.
