I've posted plenty of pics passing on them in Canada but no one was interested. Even when they were on sale $16 or $20 I only ever picked up a few for people. People hate paying taxes and shipping. No one wants to pay $8-$10 to ship them even though the total cost is a lot more on ebay. That's why I left these guys even though I'm in the US right now and shipping is cheaper.

Saw this new Halo Mega blocks set . Wal Mart exclusive, bringing back the Revenant vehicle.
Also saw the Reeves Superman and Phiffer Catwoman DC 3 3/4in figures at Target. Had a fresh case. And saw these banks at Wal-Mart. Mad me think of the JLU episode where WW gets turned into a pig. Last edited by Phantomcrow; 09-05-2014 at 11:40 AM.. |

That David Tennant Dr. Who was hard for me to pass up at TRU last week. I did though...and now he's gone. Sad face.

Was kind of a week of Hits and Misses
Saw the new TF Roadbuster but no Sky-Byte Saw the new Hero Mashers of Rulk and Iceman, but no Ghost Rider or Deadpool. I really like how Iceman came out. Saw the new Shadow form Diablo and 1994 NECA Godzilla at TRU And first time I have seen the TF Movie Voyagers of Helicopter Drift and Slog Found a Chewey and Vader SW Black figures for a friend at Walgreens but no Boba yet. |

Crappy picture but this wasn't even half of the mashers they had at this store. The Iceman figure is cool but has less articulation than I thought. Still, the translucent blue is great.
Really stocking up on this set. No way it moves at the $120 price they have it set at. TRU up here is terrible with pricing Star Wars exclusives. These will be sitting next to the past exclusives for years to come. Here are the current CLEARANCE prices for some of them. The Vintage Millennium Falcon ($199), Vintage X-Wing ($59), Republic Gunship ($119), MTT ($99). Those have all been here for at least a year not selling and at "reduced" prices. Except for the Stryfe in front that is all Scott and Logan. There were a few more on the pegs.

Man, I'd love to be able to find Roadbuster and Sky-Byte, but no such luck. Hell, I'd like to find anything new TF-wise at this point (even movie toys).
IIRC, the release schedule for that wave and the one with Gears/Tailgate got switched. So hopefully, we will still get a shot at the skipped wave at some point in the near future. I just wish the stores in my area didn't have to do a massive restock of the Prime and Bumblebee from wave one first. It's taking forever for some of them to clear enough room for the newer waves again.

Saw Jetfire in the wild for the first time. $46.99 at TRU
Also saw all this new Disney/Pixar stuff. Saw 2 of the new Assassins Creed Mega Blocks at Target. And saw the Magic: The Gathering Funko Legacy series 1 Figures at TRU for $24.99. I like how a couple of them look. The Purple chick, the Fire chick and the big armored guy all look nice. |

Never really been a fan of Pokemon, (although some of the monster designs are nifty, so I can see the appeal...) but this Ash figure really caught my be surprise, and was nearly picked up simply for being a nice figure. It would go great with a lot of the newer Nintendo stuff coming out (Smash Brothers Diorama anyone?)

These have been sitting at Walmart for about a year now...I keep thinking they will go on clearance at some point, and I would pick up a few of the mini packs then. Although their "clearance" prices have not been up to par at my local store. A dollar off a $10 item, 5 off something $35 doesn't really cut it to me...

As a long-time MTG player, it bothers me that you didn't just read their names on the box to type this post. I'll probably get Chandra "fire chick" if I ever see one in person.

HAha, I was just to lazy that day and just being generally vague :-P. I have never played MTG and had no clue who the characters were. I still kinda want the figures just cause they look decent.

Honestly, I only play the game with my friends. There's not much character to be had. Different cards have little quotes/insight from the different planeswalkers (that's what these characters getting figures are), but that's just basic personality type stuff. I guess if I read the books I'd know more about the characters, but a book based on a trading card game just sounds like a cash-in and not worthwhile reading.

Saw some of the DC Total Heroes at Wal-Mart today and the GL and Sinestro looked pretty cool. If they were the same size as the Multiverse figures I would've picked them up but I quit the 6" business a good while ago.
