It's karma for years of nothing and skipped waves or whole product lines.

I ran into this big fella tonight...AND HE'S HUGE! I honestly think he looks way better in person than in the pics we've seen thus far. It's not the best rendition of him (his spines are sickly and tiny compared to the Zilla in the picture...), and it's lacking in the articulation area, but I can definitely see the appeal to him. I would have went bananas if I would have gotten this for Christmas as a kid. For those wondering, he has articulation in the arms and wrists, legs, and tail. His neck and jaw are also articulated for chowing down on any poor people caught out in the open. I'll probably pick him up later when the movie gets closer to terrorize my G.I. Joes and Marvel Universe figs, but I just couldn't bear the 44.99 price tag at the moment. Hopefully he'll go down a bit in price or on sale as the movie gets closer.

^^^much like any other movie merchandise, it'd be wise to wait for the inevitable sales and clearance so as not to pay full price^^^

Yeah...with the movie coming out in late summer, I can imagine him being around once Black Friday rolls around. Hopefully he'll catch on and be well distributed like the huge Darth Vaders and Power Rangers that Jakks Pacific also makes (both which were hot items during the holidays.) I cant imagine why he wouldn't...it's freaking Godzilla! Still though, I think about the nightmare that was the poorly distributed movie Thor and Robocop toys, and I cringe a bit, wondering if he's actually going to climb in price if he's short shipped. There's also the possibility of the movie bombing at the box office like Robocop did, which would cause retailers to also exercise caution in ordering him. Tough trying to figure out the variables sometimes...you know?

I know the box says that Godzilla is 41" long (tail most of it) but how TALL is he? does he compare to the Shogun Warriors Godzilla that I wish I still had from the late 1970s?

I am gonna guess he is around 20-22 inches tall on Zilla. Just a guess based on the pictures, but the tail looks to be about half the total and the tail is next to him in the package.

My daughters would be all over that HK van, but I'd be going for that SHM Brown costume Wolverine.

Black Knight has started warming up here.
Saw the second wave figures but Walmart has raised their prices by $3.

23 bucks is damn pricey imo. I've been noticing Walmart do that with some things lately, not just toys. But then they sit on the shelf forever and they have to drop the price again to move em...

This is good and bad news. I need all 3 running change figures, but hate paying over $20/figure. If Target or TRU has the spiderman or cap figures cheaper, go take a picture of the item on the hook and go back to Walmart and they'll price match it!

Just wanted to make sure, that you can take a pic of WWII Captain America on the rack for $19.99 then price match a wave 2 Captain America figure at Walmart?

I think it depends on the mood of the person. Most people see all the figures as the same thing and probably don't realize some are harder to find than others.

Passed up wave 3 of the Star Wars Black figures, though I was mighty tempted to get Bespin Luke and the Stormtrooper. I'm probably just gonna hold out for ANH Luke.
