Oh man that is a thing of beauty. They need to stop making these things cause I'm going broke.

Meh, don't like it, but if it's the 27 team, then I might bite. The quality on the 27 is awesome and it weighs like you actually paid for something.

Wish I had a 27. My 25 will have to do.

Its a merchandizing ploy like the YF-25 was for False Diva. I am not expecting to see it get any screentime except for another passing visual at yet another hobby store.
The design is rather meh, very much a recycling of existing Kawamori design elements slapped together to make yet another valkyrie version to sell. I am glad it's coming out as a 1/100 kit rather than the over engineered / over priced Hi Metal line. IF only Bandai would release the rest of the Frontier fighters in 1/100 scale kit form, they could at least make money in that scale. Clearly Wave must be doing well for Bandai to resurrect their 1/100 kit lines to compete. Let's hope for and even ask for (at every opportunity) for some other kits like the VF-27B and G, the VF-171 and VF-171EX, YF-25 and even a YF-24 kit would be nice. |
