Thanks man but Haha nah, I actually work for Megalopolis. The article that we sent has just been interpreted wrong I guess. But like I said a lot of hands eventually go into the creation of a figure like this.

Lots of talented folks to make a project like this come to life: Andrew, myself, Aaron Doyle, Big Shot Toy Works, Jason Wires, and of course James Groman as well with insightful art direction along the way. Super stoked people are loving these designs we've worked so hard on! Can't wait to unveil more! |

Yeah, these are worth the price for sure. Totally amazing. Still would like the heads to pop off but perhaps, there can be something in the future.

These really have me even more confident about Megalopolis's other planned lines. I can't wait to see Bad Mr. Frosty.

That's my bad in the phrasing of the article. It was meant to indicate James designed the accessories. Andrew does all of our amazing graphic artwork at Megalopolis and is the man!

These look like a marriage between action figures and vinyl designer toys. I mostly avoid the latter for their prices and/or pretentiousness.
But these look amazing and fairly priced. A good nostalgia kick I'd say.

I think $35 will make more sense when it's in hand. So much detail and paint must be costly. All that chunk! THICC TOYS!
I'm officially obsessed. I need. I need'em. I want'em. Imagining these on the shelf is glorious. |

These look great and id love to own them. Unfortunately madballs doesnt strike enough of a nostalgia chord for me. Barnyard commandos and battletoads however. Different tune entirely.

I wonder if the head has a little up and down swivel articulation? Or it’s it just 360 spin around? It would be so great to have a little up and down.

It's a barbell so it pivots on both the side that fits int he head and the one in the body, so it gives a good range of motion there!

I just watched the Pixel Dan interview with Ben Westover of Megalopolis. WHAT A GUY! He went into a lot of details. This is the guy for these toys. It's a miracle for all of us. He's has assembled the dream teamers of toys and has a lot of creativity himself. Shout out to ICEMAN AWCRAMER! I like the way the characters look now more than the older Madballs. Not sure who that falls under but it kind of sounds like it might be things AW is doing at times. It's hard to imagine so many hands coming together and making things SO DAMN GOOD! The figures totally remind me of the old while updating them perfectly . https://youtu.be/9MUi6i2l5N8 $35 makes SO MUCH SENSE. GUYS! These are the ultimate versions of these characters. It's a "TOP THAT!" situation. Megalopolis is ALL IN. The thought and care going into these toys is a beautiful thing. Nobody will top it. WATCH! WAIT 50 YEARS! NOT HAPPENING! I heard him say they are doing at least 12 Madballs. WHAT!? He didn't seem concerned about sales or anything. I'll take it with a grain of salt but I'm insanely excited. His dedication to all of the revealed toy lines is INSANE. KUDOS to all who are working on this! I'm so happy to have the opportunity to own this art. I think they've said they are aiming to do the original 16.
Really want Horn Head and Oculus...but US$45 shipping to Australia is a bit rough. I like how it's actually 3 cents more to buy a set of 4. |

Super7 has "expensive" shipping through their store as well. That's why I pre-ordered the ultimate turtles from BBTS. It was like a $10 difference. The Super7 store orders will probably be delivered first, which is a perk, but the cheaper shipping at BBTS is a big deal when the orders start adding up. I still have no idea how BBTS offers flat rate shipping.... One thing I do know, shipping in America is more complicated and crazy than ever before with Amazon now existing as the mega giant of online sales and shipping. They have special deals with every shipping company that basically dictates all of shipping. The shipping companies are constantly reacting with the fluctuating nature of these deals. As Amazon sales rise, they monopolize more of the shipping, increasing everybody else's rates down the line. As sales fall, shipping cost decrease for everybody because there is more space. Like any business, this goes up and down all the time, making prices very random. I see the people who run my local independent mail center all time. Over the years I started noticing the problems. I eventually began to ask about it and over time they figured it out themselves and relayed the messages. Amazon. Nobody knows what it's going to be like in the future. Hopefully better as we all adapt to an increasingly paperless world. Office references make boring stuff more interesting. |

Crap that's rough...My shipping was $12 for one figure to California. The recent Tokka and Rahzar from Neca seemed to be around the same price for most people. That's a two pack with heavy figures scaling 7 and 8 inches. People seemed to complain about that too.

Thanks for the explanation. I have noticed shipping from America being increasingly erratic and expensive. Mezco are the worst. BBTS has gotten bad enough lately that after 10 years of them being my go to, I barely use them. I ordered the Tokka & Rahzar set and shipping was a very reasonable US$21.
Me too! I'm really looking forward to all of them. Clayfighter could be insane. The idea they could recreate them to look like clay in plastic form is mind blowing. |

The madballs look amazing. I don't have a whole lot of nostalgia for them and am kinda out of space. I'll might pick up just a few.
Eartworm Jim will be really cool to see. I have the complete vintage line. Here's hoping for finally a figure of Queen-Slug-for-a-butt figure. I always wanted figures of Battle Toads. The games were awesome and I always thought Battle Toads figures could fit right in with the TMNT. I used to own a bootleg Toad on a skateboard but he was alot bigger than TMNT figures and didn't fit in too well. |
