I can't help but wonder if that's why the Star Wars figures were delayed for such a long time. Maybe MAFEX were fixing the quality issues people had, had with their figures before. It would at least seem that way, because from what I've been hearing the Star Wars stuff is really nice. I'm considering getting Vader to try this line out. Been looking for a Star Wars line to start collecting, and the Figuarts stuff is too hard to get a hold of. This MAFEX stuff looks like a great alternative, and to be honest I like the sculpts more. They look less stylized, and more true to the source material than Figuarts.

Pre-orders are up on amiami
C'mon mates, just one Batarang for bats? lol They look great, i love the detail of the tattered cape/uneven on Batman. I think he has a wired cape as well but I can't tell as easily as Superman. I've only handled the first Dark Knight rises Batman so i'm hoping they've improved the quality of their joints; to be honest it's just the shoulders that bothered me. |

Diana looks incredible, and I'm not a DC Comics fan, nor am I very high on this movie by any means. Definitely going to pick her up for the wife...

These look AMAZING! They are better than the damn Hot Toys if you ask me and they are half the size.

As for these, I like most of them, but something about the texturing on the regular Batman feels off. And still not a fan of cloth capes, I feel like they'd be easily damaged over time. |

I have purchased 2x MAFEX figures in the past. The first one was the Bale Batman 1.0, boy I was quite disappointed with it. It has is ton of issues but the worst one for me was it kept falling apart. Shoulder and Waist (or Ab Crunch I can't remember exactly which) just keeps popping out making it hard to pose.
The second one is The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Deluxe Edition. It was a much better figure than Bale Batman 1.0 in my opinion. I decided to give them a second chance because their Spider-Man Deluxe edition came with so much accessories and an amazing display base I couldn't pass it up. I recently got the Superman figure and I have to say I am quite happy with it. I mean it's not perfect by all means but it's a good figure. The range of motion for its articulation wasn't as I hoped it would be (I wanted a wider range of motion) but it's there and it works. The only issue I am having with it is his right crotch joint is already quite lose but it's no biggie it can be fixed. I actually decided to already use him as a base for my Rebirth Superman custom. All I did was a simple repaint. I painted the gold parts of his belt red and his boots blue with Red highlights on the boots. I also covered up all the shiny lines on his body with blue but left the shiny lines on his wrist alone. Having the wires on the bottom of the cape was kinda weird at first but I've gotten used to it. My next figures from MAFEX will be Affleck Batman and Wonder Woman. I'm hearing people having issues with Batman though. Specifically his waist being stuck. |

I keep hearing complaints upon complaints about all of the BvS ones so far but my Superman and Batman are both well done. *shrugs*

Honestly, I can't disagree more, at least when it comes to Darth Vader. Mainly the helmet. It looks wrong. Not quite as bad as Hasbro, though. I just don't understand, there's hundreds upon thousands of images of that iconic helmet, why can't these toy companies get it right?
