I don't think I'll get this b/c I have the BS but that's a really good head sculpt.

I'm really tired of MAFEX attaching shoulderpads to the torso instead of the arm... Looks so back in any kind of pose.
And the face will end up not looking that good... Figuarts it is for me. |

BAHAHAHAHA!!!! There is 0 chance the face will end up looking like that. I would like to point everyone's attention to Exhibit A: Wonder Woman. You won't fool me twice MAFEX

While I'm no fan of MAFEX, it's worth noting that they've switched over to the dot-matrix printing now, much like the Figuarts line, starting with their upcoming Harley. When that comes out, we'll have a better idea of how these faces will start turning out. There's no way it'll be as good as the promotional pictures, but hopefully it'll look a good deal closer than how WW or Supes turned out.

The image sure depicts a nice sculpt of Finn. That said, I'd prefer a clean helmet and a different character.

Is anyone else a little bummed out that all of the Finn figures on the way are depicting him in the trooper armor? Or is it just me?
Don't get me wrong, this figure looks cool, but I want a Finn out of the armor and with the jacket. I have and like the black series figure, but something fancier from one the import lines would be nice. |

I still haven't warmed up to Mafex just yet. My only figure is the Holo Vader. How well do these scale with SH Figuarts, or the Black Series?

They're right in line with them. More so the BS than SHF, but they're all close enough that unless you get the ruler out no one will care.

Thanks. I was planning to include the Mafex Death Troopers and Shore Troopers beside the Figuarts ones.
