I cannot believe this.
This thing is half the price of the SHF Hulkbuster! And it's larger to boot! And has an opening cockpit! |

So is a Mafex Hulk coming? They're doing Iron Man too. Funny how their Iron Man is more expensive than the Figuarts Iron Man, but this thing is $100 cheaper. I would hope a Mafex Hulk is coming down the line too now.
Amiami already has it up. ~$214 at todays good exchange rate. HLJ has a similar discount on previous Mafex figures as Amiami, so it might be worth it to go to HLJ for this one when they put it up to save on the shipping. Last edited by dukefett; 11-23-2015 at 09:43 AM.. |

I'm thinking about getting this figure, but I'm not sure about it yet. I want to see if MAFEX plans on doing the other Avengers. The availability of the Figuarts stuff is too sparse for my liking, and I don't even consider the Legends stuff. Those are okay toys, but not good collectors items/display pieces IMHO. The stuff MAFEX is doing is starting to look like a really attractive alternative to Figuarts, look less stylized too.
Does anyone know why the MAFEX Mark 43 Iron Man is so expensive compared to their Star Wars stuff? Does he come with a ton of accessories, or is he made out of die-cast, or something? |

It certainly looks great but the size is too small for me. It would be shorter than all of my HTs, which wouldn't work. HT Hulkbuster, even though appropriately sized, I think is too big. I'd be more inclined for like an 18-20" detailed figure.

Ooohhh. I hope they plan on releasing the rest of the Avengers. I know mafex figures do tend to run a bit bigger than s.h. the s.h. cap is perfect with the s.h. hulk and figma iron man, but the thor is a bit on the small side. If mafex does release a thor I hope they make him in the 6.5 to 7 inch range. That would be perfect.

I think Mafex is king. Loved Darth, loved Batman 2.0, loved SPiderman.....I'll bite.
