I wish he had an effect part for his gun, but otherwise looks pretty badass.

I'll get it, just because. But, it seems like something is off about this figure and I can't really put my finger on it... SH Figuarts needs to put one out and at the quality of their movie realization figures or even the quality that they put into Darth Maul. I use those examples because face it, their stab at Darth Vader and the Stormtrooper's headsculpts sucked badly.

I think it's the color of green they're using, in the movie his body armor and gauntlets were a lot more green looking than this kind of greyed out green (though they weren't exactly vibrant green in the movie). I also think that the jumpsuit on this figure looks a little off and the suit under his chest armor is supposed to be a white color not the same blue-tinted grey as the rest. His torso also just seems a little undersized which makes him look a little lanky.

It is tempting, but I'd rather just wait because there's going to be a SHF at some point. The green is definitely too dark and faded looking. I think it's cool that you can move the antenna, but other than that it doesn't really have much else going for it. The Revoltech is probably better (from what I hear it's pretty fucking great), and an eventual SHF may possibly just own it.

So if the helmet and all the front armor is scuffed and scratched? How/why is the back pack still so pristine? I call that an oops.

Yeah if I didn't have SHF I'd go with that one. Still might anyway. Definitely getting the droids.

I currently have the SHF Kylo wearing Black Series robes and the SHF Phasma but
These are too good. I already got pre-orders in place. Guess I should probably check out the MAFEX Vader and stormtroopers to get used to the line.. I just wish Kylo's scarf was cloth, too, because it kinda clashes now, but I wonder if I can make a custom one from the BS robes since I'll probably get rid of my SHF Phasma and Kylo depending on how good these wind up being. DECISIONS DECISIONS. |

Hmmm and by the looks of it, and going off what they did with Vader apparently, Phasma's cape probably has bendy wires in it.. That'll be a ton of fun to mess with if that's the case.

These all look really impressive. Finally a BB-8 with a magnet that lets the head move. (I still want to modify the Bandai model to do that if I ever get around to it).
Also, gotta love the giant thumb print right in the middle of Phasma's close-up stock photo. |

Ugh...why is it taking SH Figuarts or Mafex so long to do a Rey figure?
