If I may make a suggestion. Can the BST and eBay threads be separated in its own section on the front page? It buries topics on the Latest Discussion section. For example, TFW has a Junkion Exchange section.

Now that the Toyark Experiance prize thing is done with can we get rid of the big annoying banner at the top and spamming and point raising ... since we dont even have points anymore. That being that case as well can we stop living in fear of being reprimanded and banned for short responses that you might have during that time taken as an attempt to win something rather then a legitimate "nice job .. or thats cool" ... I dont have time to write an essay on ever post but at the same time i would like to agknowledge things people create or find ...
...and this^.

Bickering and related posts deleted. If there are problem posts, report them. Do not tell people how they should or should not be posting unless you are staff.

Weren't you looking for staff? What ever happened to that? It would be nice to have more active mods that actually come down to regular member level and actually have conversations with the forum members that aren't about deleting posts or threatening to close a thread. Like, lets see some action figure pictures here =D.

I see staff make conversation posts all the time. Just the other day Joe commented in one of the threads how he thought MOTU would never be done in 3.75" scale. Trebleshot makes post a lot too. I see Shin post convo style in threads as well. He started that "I found Skaar" thread just the other day.
I think the mods and admins at the Ark are great as a matter of fact.

I guess it is just what section you are more active in. Treble and Shin post a lot in the Marvel section and whatnot. But almost every time I see a post by a mod, it is some sort of "threat" about deleting posts or closing a thread. Personally, I do not feel that is needed on the forum, it is like calling out members without saying their username. Delete the posts, privately message the people whos posts you deleted [which they do], then leave it as that. That is just me though, I will probably get pm'ed with a warning or some sort or completely ignored.

are any of these suggestions being considered as far as bringing stats back and legit stuff or is this just a GD thread now?

Not sure, however having a discussion on suggestions is at least some what on a related topic of the thread. As for the first part, so far I have only seen Treble make something a sticky, but I haven't read all the pages to see what's gone down.

I think they do a great job..there is plenty off of topic stuff that they give leeway to and they crack down on stuff that gets out of hand..good balance IMO.. and I have been one that has been repremanded..it was done professionally . They give you plenty of rope to hang yourself with ..you have to be a monumental douchebag to really get in their crosshairs here.
I'm going to get in shit for freedom of speech at this rate...

I can agree and then disagree. When some one suggests on how to post pictures instead of bumping your thread with a post for 3-4 pictures and the one gets upset about it is, yes understandable. However the initial SUGGESTION was to tell this user that you can post 10 or so pictures per post. Without mentioning names but this user shouldn't of gotten upset with a suggestion, and this other user should of maybe constructed his suggestion a bit better to seem more polite. Then a mod comes in saying something on the lines of "You cannot tell people how to post unless you are staff". Like damn people, this guy was only making a suggestion that gotten blown out of proportion. Mods tell us not to call people out, well in this case a mod called this certain user out and said something along the lines of the quote I just posted. Sure he didn't say his username but if you where reading the conversation you would know exactly who it was directed too.

I think it would get more traffic, not to mention people would know where it was at, if those threads were combined and made into a forum of its own. Much like TFW does and house anything and everything comics related in one place.
Comic Books and Graphic Novels - TFW2005 - The 2005 Boards Comics Discussion Forum- Marvel Comics Discussion DC Comics Discussion Image Comics Discussion IDW Comics Discussion Dark Horse Comics Discussion Manga Discussion General Comicsa Discussion Or at the very least have the respective threads show up under the DC and Marvel Discussion sidebars, instead of Latest Discussion, where they get burried, or confused for other things.

I would like a comic forum as well.
I would also like a wrestling forum. I would also like to see more news stories revealing upcomming toys before other boards get them.

^ I guess we will see where the idea goes then, sounds like there are quite a few people that think the boards would benefit from it.

Honestly, I wish this board was split evenly between toys and comics, that would be awesome. I miss out on a lot of in-the-know stuff with comics, and a place like this could definitely correct that.

I wish the prize system was altered, something like 100 posts/month minimum = 1 free figure, that could be mu,ml,dc,transformers etc, say at a price point under $20. if everybody did that there'd be so much traffic on here making the site $$ and we'd all get toys, instead of only 3 people getting rewarded. It's like my staff party I just got back from, it'd be nice if they showed true staff appreciation by giving us all a small gift instead of having 4-5 large prizes and only a hand full of winners. I'd rather say $20 cash and a thank you card then the "chance to win". Everybody wants a guaranteed thing. so if we got "contracted" to make so many posts per month in exchange for a free figure for month wouldn't that be sweet? 100 posts/month is a little over 3/day. And the 3 could be an update to a personal thread, a comment on a thread or creating a new thread.

Something else that just came to mind, do we need to inquire to Tony directly about this thread-
Toyark.Com looking for Moderators and News Staff - Toy Discussion at Toyark.com or will someone eventually reply to it?
