Extremely excited about this line. So much so that I started customizing figs from the GI Joe 25th already!

Where about in Texas are you from, man? I just noticed a Mattel store in Richardson yesterday. I never even knew they had those. I wonder if they would sell the new online figures there.

I'm in Fort Worth. The old Mattel Store used to be in Arlington, but has moved to that location in Richardson you noted. I haven't had the chance to drop my there yet. Back in the old days, mostly what they had was old or overstock at deep discount prices. You'd occasionally get a case or two of something brand new or even early because the carton would be crushed and unsalable. That's how I got the HeMan so early. It's possible that they might offer some of the new online stuff there, but it's hard to be certain without a visit.
Oh, and just to stay on topic......I CAN"T WAIT FOR A FREAKING WOLVERINE!!!! |

Wow they look awesome!
I'll definitely get Original Iron-Man, Daredevil & Spider-Man from wave 1!!! And I can't with to finally get a Captain America in 4" scale I'll probably be getting most of these figures. Especially these: - Colossus (MORE X-MEN PLEASE ) - Wolverine (if it's the old brown or yellow outfit) - Thor - Hobgoblin - Nick Fury |

I'd love an Ultron figure for Fury Files to be made.

Bring on Ms. Marvel already! I don't need to get sucked into another toyline, but I can already see me buying the majority of this line.

I want a Bucky Evolutions set! Yes, I am not a fan of Bucky from back in the day, but the way he is now? FTW!.
Bucky-Winter Soldier-NEW AWESOME CAPTAIN AMERICA! PERFECT EVOLUTIONS set! Hell it's modern too, since the last figure is in the current storylines! The current Brubaker storylines RULE! |

I primarily only buy Iron Man and Hulk figures, so I'm only really interested in those, but this whole line looks great so far. The only exception being Hulk's head. I don't know for sure if it's the eyes or just the whole face, it just doesn't look right to me.

I'm definitely eyeing these...that'd make three properties in 3-3/4 inch that I'd be collecting. Damn matching scales!

Looking at the proto pics from SDCC, I can't help but wondering if a Hulk from one of the 6 inch lines will look better on a shelf with these guys than the wave 2 hulks. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good one to pick up?
Oh, and I can't wait to put together a display with this Iron Man and the GI Joe (quasi) F-22 to recreate the scene from the movie. |

Actually I think I'm going to keep my Showdown version. You might be able to get one of those cheap.

I was thinking of the same thing the other day while I was at Wal-Mart. Some of those 6" Hulks would look great with the new Marvel line especially since the face on the new Hulk looks more like he's.... well.... constipated.
regardless, I am so excited to finally have all three of my favorite lines all in the same scale. Say what you want about the DC line but after getting the Hawkman 3-pack, I was sold. The Thanagarian soldiers beat the living snot out of my Joe team Last edited by Fred21; 11-28-2008 at 11:04 PM.. |

Just got the Wave 1 case breakdown. 12 figures per case.
- Iron-Man - Iron-Man (Stealth Blue) - Black Panther - Bullseye - Daredevil - Human Torch - Human Torch (Variant) - The Punisher - Silver Surfer - Wolverine (X-Force) - Spider-Man will be x2

I do hope the villain-to-hero ratio improves dramatically. A whole case and only one villain? Last edited by metaphorge; 12-03-2008 at 02:59 PM.. |
