I have to move apartments...and find one!
A nice apartment with room to make customs and models and room to build a new Beta Particle Accelerator to finally show the world what happens when they laugh at my theories! I'LL. SHOW. THEM. ALL! Also to finish some customs- I've got a nice Silver Sable working now and I just finished repainting 1andonly's Fallen custom which he gave me and I totally did not steal no matter what he says now. The Fallen is a lovely metallic midnight blue with bright blue hair and day-glow blue drybrushed details on the hair and eyes. That's three Herald in my collection! Now I just need Nova (easy) Terrax (80% done) Air Walker (anyone got any ideas here?), Red Shift (not too hard) Stardust (crazy tough to do right), Morg (I've seen some nice builds to reference, but he'll be work), and now the new old preacher guy Fracton made- he does not have an official name so I'm calling him the Golden Geezer (yes, really. someone needs to smack Matt Fracton. with rebar.) Once I get my place set up, I have to finish the three customs I really want to get nuts on- Terrax, Annihilus and Box! (Madison Jeffries version Box, duh. How can you even ask that?) Then it's back to the Secret Warriors- Yo Yo, Stonewall, Hellfire, Phobos all have their parts assembled but I'm looking for good parts for Druid- my favorite member!- and Eden Fesi.... and then I want to mkae Alexander Pierce and his incredibly badass Black Team! Black Team is sorta like X-Force in that they're a kill squad of super powered badasses but unlike X-Force, they're not a bunch of candyasses. http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/6...ars_team_1.jpg And I need to go back to making the star of my collection: ROM: Spaceknight! He'll be tough though- the silver Spaceknight is 7' tall, so I'll have to get creative. I hope to get all these done by the end of the year! (barring homelessness, or armageddon that is- the end of the world is a busy time for me)

With Rom, you could probably use a Collossus as a base. He's a little taller than the other figures.

I just got halfway done with my Gorgon today- though I'd dearly LOVE to see your take on him! I'm going with the new Hobbit Gandalf for the body with a Punisher head plus Renegades scarlett pony tail for the head and some added strands of hair (after I get his removable blindfold completed). I gotta repaint his flesh that corpsy-white that Gorgon has.
You should make the Kracken! I fear his armor might be my undoing...and I SO love his character! If you've read the entie series you get to see his long-game and then you can go back to even issue three and see all he did to make it happen. You should make Madame Hydra- you're probably the only person I know of that could pull that off and make it look great- she's got such a cool costume! Y'know, even after raeding the series like five times (I own the super-omnibus edition), it's not clear if Strucker knew Madame hydra was the Countess or was fooled like everyone else or what. My Gorgon, I think will kick serious ass in his Secret Warriors outfit- I just need to scan pics of his blindfold pattern and make a decal for it. I got a Microman "little sister" to serve as Phobos' super-articulated badass body. For JT (Hellfire) I have a Lando torso on Cage's lower half and a custom jacket made from half of a Nick Fury coat, with a Tim Roth head from that last Hulk movie. Yo Yo is 90% done- she's a X-23 body with custom forearms and a Pirates of The Carribbean Angelica head. I've got an extra new Punisher body with Wonderman arms set aside for Alexander Pierce...and I plan on making all of his Black Team! I have a Warpath set aside for making Bobby Gamora and a Steve rogers body with a Spirit head cast for Ben Huth. Who do you reccomend for Druid? I was thinking of Renegades Duke's head with sculpted hair and full repaint but I dont really know...I want Druid in his ass-kicker look from the end of the series, when he reaches his full crazy-powerful potential. Another trenchcoat i'll have to get from Vortious. I have Jerry (Stonewall) ready for paint- a modified Sabertooth body with new hands and a Drax head....plus some added bands and the belt. I already made Daisy, Nick and Dum Dum: But before I get anything else done, I gotta move! I have two hige 30 gallon plastic bins full of just MU figures with a paper case box full of customizing parts and figs...I never knew I blew SO much money on this hobby/collection! Maaan...just the art supplies alone are a mint. Hmmm...you...YOU should make a ROM! I bet it'd kick ass. Better yet- make a Dire Wraith! your sculpting skills are certainly up to the challenge.

When I got my new MU Hulk, I realized that my old SW Hulk was obsolete. So what to do with him? Then I read Dark Avengers 181 and... here is my solution - Calvin Zabo a.k.a. Mister Hyde

Love that Young Hawkeye and Stature. Wish hasbro would do those two as a comic pack or GBP.
Though honestly I kind of want a small and a big Stature, but I'll take what I can get! |

I enjoyed the Avengers film enough to pick up Hasbro's "Movie Series" figures, including The Hulk, but felt he lacked paint...
...so I took an airbrush to him. Much more satisfied with the figure now. Fun figure to pose and photograph! |

Only the Mr. Color lacquers I had left over from a previous project; specifically, Gundam Brown (2) and Gundam Green (3).
Is there any hope for a Movieverse Black Widow in this scale, or will I have to make my own? |

I picked up a couple of WWE elite figures from Big Lots for some fodder. So I thought I would use an WWE Ultimate Warrior that I bought to make a bigger Drax. I wasn't really pleased with ROML Drax figure that we got from Hasbro. I felt he needed to be more buff. It ended up being a pretty easy custom comparatively speaking. I had extra ROML Drax parts left over from my Ghost Rider body swap. The forearms and lower legs worked without any modifications, but I did have to Dremel/drill out the head to fit the Ultimate Warrior neck peg. After that all that was left was his paint job, in which I went a little darker skin tone more like his first appearance in this body.

Very cool Thor skull iceman. I have two of those avengers skulls as extras right now. Maybe I can make more skull copies.
Modern version of Dr Strange with the capeless clear one I got frome a Chinese seller on eBay. I used his legs and hands to make a better articulated black suit spidey. |

As much as I like the classic Dr. Strange look his costume is pretty sleek. If they changed the red to gray he could go join X-Force. Maybe I should start making X-Force versions of random characters.

Nice customs Moon. Did you cast those WM arms? They look bigger than Ice Mans. They both look great. I'd love to see a Wonder Man in the brown leather jacket with removable sun glasses.
