He was just one of the more difficult figures to put together. Particularly the piece that came with Scream. I for one am glad they are taking this path now with some of the BAFs. Although it was a pain for me to put this particular figure together, the re-deco makes it worth an eventual pick up. I second the want for Kingpin!

Wow, cool! Personally, I think it looks much better with the traditional old-school Venom paint-job and darker base plastic. I'll be sure to pick this up.
Me too. It's always hilarious to see people get so butthurt who were hoping to put a down payment on a mansion with their toys. Couldn't care less if people are mad about this. I love it when companies like Hasbro or NECA re-release figures so people who missed out on them the first time can get them for reasonable retail prices as opposed to taking it up the ass from scalpers on ebay. And honestly, the scalpers are really the ones that cry the most when this happens anyway, so it's a win-win. And to the people contemplating complaining to Hasbro (you totally know they'e going to do it), why should they give a shit about after-market prices? The article DIRECTLY ABOVE literally says where it came from and shows pics of the original figure. Come on, dude! Last edited by Dolemite; 02-04-2020 at 01:29 AM.. |

And a second Kingpin would be nice, especially for anyone who still needs something to do with their extra Shadow King heads. |

This not only is a huge relief to so many who wanted the BAF, But the classic look on it looks great!

Well obviously scalpers give Hasbro a cut of their profits, but just a taste. Seriously though I hope this trend continues and we get more single releases of former BAFs, or occasionally as part of multipacks when appropriate.

I'm anxiously awaiting Kingpin. He's one of the few BAFs that I actually want.

Nice - I like the mold better in these colors and I don't collect BAF's anyway.

I just noticed Venom has some weird shin cuts, are those swivel joints or just a molding artifact?

It's sad when people get pissed off that other people are going to be able to enjoy something. There is this movie company called Twilight Time that was only printing limited copies of a movie and if you didn't preorder a copy, you were pretty much SOL on getting it. The worst part is that they would license the movie for 5+ years so no one else could release it. Well then they started doing some new printings of some of their older titles. All of them had new covers to signify they were the second editions and I picked up a copy of The Big Heat and some dude online got pissed off at me because, "Assholes like you are ruining the value of the 3 copies I bought." And he wasn't the only one who felt this way so much so that Twilight Time decided after awhile they would no longer reissue movies.

I feel sorry for the folks that spent the $100+ USD to get the whole wave to build this figure.

When they re-released Juggernaut I was kinda mad, but at the same time even though I just finished my Apocalypse BAF I hope they re-release him because figures like Gladiator should not be so damn expensive just because they had a dumb Apocalypse head packed in with them IMO.

Same will go for Kingpin and Apocalypse if they show up rereleased again, the people who bought the full waves got a lot of good figures out of it. I might feel bad if some more Avenger movie BAFs are rereleased, though, but there are a few BAFs from those waves I will never own complete without a rerelease. But generally I think that's just the name of the game. |

Already had previous Venom and Carnage releases, Typhoid Mary has zero to do with Venom, as far as I know. I would have preferred She-Venom, Agony, Shriek … ANYONE other than some badly dressed hooker toy. So I passed on the wave as a whole. Glad This Venom is being released separately.

It's like the current Spider-Man wave...people are hating on White Rabbit, which is a figure I've wanted for ages and that I'm overjoyed to finally have in my collection. Spymaster in the upcoming Black Widow wave is another example of a somewhat older and/or obscure character that I'm happy is finally getting plastic representation. Hasbro usually has a nice mix in their waves in that regard. Last edited by Dolemite; 02-04-2020 at 10:53 AM.. |

Yeah, you're absolutely right. That was an overall very good wave. I personally bought Venom, Carnage, Scream , Typhoid Mary, and Spider-Ham from that wave. Skipped Poison for the reason you mentioned (a dud), but if I was a fan of the character I'd probably have been happy with it.
Dude, almost every Legends wave has one or even two unrelated figures in it. And Typhoid Mary has had major roles in the comics over the years, especially in Daredevil.
