That Daredevil....Ugh. The ones from the Walmart wave back in the day was so much better looking...
But... Ultimate Spider Woman?... And ANTI-VENOM?!?! Seriously?!? I didn't either of them were coming!?! AV came from totally out of left field! Finally...no more scouring Ebay and the net in hopes of running into the perfect ML custom of the guy. He looks perfect...I KNEW they would reuse those Toxin arms if they ever did him. Great...and here I was thinking I was going to be avoiding this wave entirely. Curses! Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 01-14-2015 at 12:39 AM.. |

I'm hoping it releases sooner rather then later, just so it's out there before Hasbro can entertain the idea of cancelling it in favor of a figure based on her awful new costume. |

Agreed about Anti-Venom. My eyes bugged out when I scrolled and saw him.

Seeing Ultimate Spider Woman also gives me hope that we will eventually see Silk somewhere down the line. Wouldn't be too hard to do, it's essentially a Spider Girl repaint with a retooled Psylocke head from the SDCC set. Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 01-14-2015 at 10:08 AM.. |

Haha I completely forgot that Ultimate Spider-Woman uses the same name as 616 Jessica Drew. I was talking about the latter, just for the sake of clarification.
I suppose both Spider-Women have terrible costumes at the moment. |

LOL ! Yeah, I had forgotten that Hasbro had recently announced a figure of the 616 Jessica Drew as well !

Man... some of those ebay pics of the 2015 Spider-Man wave look like mediocre custom jobs. I'm down for classic Spidey with that pizza slice, but the others are a little too "I can just make that myself" looking. Good wave for folks that don't customize though!

I think I heard the same announcement mentioned at SDCC that Spider Woman was supposed to be included in this wave. I assumed like most people probably did that it would be the 616 version of the character, and not the clone of Spidey from the Ultimate Universe. To be fair, the character is still Jessica Drew, just not the version we thought. I am okay with this though because the Toy Biz version Spider Woman still holds up fairly well, and I will finally have a Spider Woman to pose with Miles. I hope she will come with an unmasked head. That would really sweeten the deal.

Ahhh..okay. That makes sense. I thought Hasbro was giving us a new Spider Woman. Even better to see they are giving us both versions, as I was a fan of the character in the Ultimate comics.

VipersKingdom must have some kind of inside track on large quantities of action figures. He has an amazing inventory. His sales of Black Series Fett Prototype alone must number well into the dozens, if not hundreds.

They do have a high amount of positive feedbacks though, and while I do not jump on their early release bandwagons, they do carry a decent amount of figures at prices low enough to help offset scalpers...even if their figures may or may not be authentic. Quote:
Says the wave is due out in February. Hopefully it won't take until June for this to come in like the horribly delayed GOTG figures did with BBTS. They didn't come in until close to 4 months after hitting the streets. I'll be keeping an eye on HTS too... |

Looks like I'll be needing Spidey 2099 even though I don't collect Marvel Legends anymore.
Dammit!

im hoping spidey 2099 comes with more then one set of hands. i think i'll wait til these come out in the stores.. no need to preorder from BBTS or buy on ebay considering legends are always available in targets,wal-marts,toys r us stores.
That Anti- Venom looks blah.... my MS Anti-venom looks 100 times better. |
