Yet it's entirely not that "what if" character and doesn't even look like it and has no relation to that what if character.
Yup. And they've got more storylines coming later too. Especially since they rewrote the origins of the Klyntar and how that ties into the Celestials. So the poisons are likely to get an interesting counterpoint origin to expand theirs too in how they are a symbiote predator. Though "venomized heroes" might be more applicable. Wasn't directly Venomized Avengers though there were a bunch of them too. Really hope they do some of the other poison versions too. Deadpool Poison and Ghost Rider Poison, and many others were really freaking cool. And I'd love a GwenomPool too. She was an interesting breakout character from her ministory. Not really a fan of her Poison outfit though. Most Poisons take the colors of their heroes non-venomized suit. In Spider-Man's case, he went more anti-venom colors because his spider suit wasn't so much a venomized version of his costume unlike the others. So instead it's inverted from the poison. Or potentially, based off of his future foundation suit. |

All figures look great, but I don't know... I still have issues with the classic venom proportions.
Not sure if he should have been a bit hunched, his head smaller or his torso bulkier. |

At this point in marvel, it's easier to list who hasn't been an avenger than who has. And even Venomized heroes is probably wrong too, since there were a lot of venomized villains too. |

The MCU 10th Anniversary line is some of Hasbro's best work in years. The sculpts are more complex, and paint is improved greatly (they're finally getting the hang of that digital face painting), and I see they're using separate pieces for the hair across the board now, even for male characters. Plus, QC issues are (almost) non-existent, except for Ronan...if you look in the gallery, the dude's eyes are literally printed UNDER his eye sculpts. Wow, what a factory fuck-up, lol. Good thing I give no shits about Ronan.
That said, I was super-psyched when it was announced that we were actually getting an MCU Crossbones figure, and now that I have it in-hand, I think it's astonishingly awesome. I loved his design in Civil War and Hasbro did an amazing job at capturing every aspect of his complex design in action figure form. All the ammo clips and little tools on his shoulders are there, and his vest and especially his helmet look amazing, especially considering the scale. Yeah, his masked head is actually a tiny bit smaller than his unmasked head (nice Frank Grillo likeness!), but who cares? The figure is nonetheless stunning. Also deserving of mention is the MCU 10th Yellowjacket figure. The villain of the first Ant Man movie was pretty fucking lame, but his suit looked fantastic, and it's another example of a complex design rendered perfectly in toy form, including his helmet and backpack with the articulated stinger arm thingys. Really jazzed to have Crossbones and Yellowjacket in my collection. Last edited by Dolemite; 09-04-2018 at 07:32 AM.. |

The Marvel Studio figures look amazing! The detail on Crossbones is some of the best I've seen on a ML. Cap & Iron Man look great. Hasbro seems to really be upping their game lately!
