Marvel Legends Live Stream 7/28/21 – What If, Zombies, New Vulture, Black Hand Ninjas & More

I would like to see them just move forward with a new female body. Hearing them talk about the new parts while missing basic articulation rubs me the wrong way.

More Captain Carter type articulation and bodies. She Hulk would have been great with that buck.

I think it's a solid wave. T'Challa is a bit too animated for my tastes. The others seem a little reigned in.

Deluxe figures seem nice, especially for the What If figure.

I am mainly interested in the What If wave for the Watcher figure--but I have a feeling after the show airs I will not mind having those figures in hand. The Captain Carter episode will have to be pretty amazing to get me to buy the Hydra Stomper figure.

Also hope I get a chance to get the Vulture redo. I skipped the build a figure wave and am grateful for a chance to get a more accurate version of the character.

Do we have any idea what was teased at the end? Just looks like a generic grayish box at the end.

Couple people mentioned it was the Psycho Man Fear/Doubt/Hate device.

The Watcher BAF is interesting, but I don't think I'm going to buy an entire wave of figures I don't want just to get him. The forthcoming re-release of DST's Watcher is good enough.

I already pre-ordered Galactus. That thing looks epic.

Whew! Only one I'm getting is Tigra. And Black Ninjas? Really? The Red ones in the Stiltman wave are extremely HTF & go for mucho $$ on ebay, they should have made that version the Army builder! Lost $$ from me there Hasbro.

I guess fear/doubt/hate is a Psycho Man thing apparently. Makes sense since they teased a Fantastic Four-centric wave to compliment Galactus.

Ignoring the obvious pun here, maybe, and I'm just spitballin' here, Hasbro's offering black Hand Ninjas as a troop builder (I assume on Pulse) because you can preorder more red ones at BBTS and Dorkside whenever you're done overreacting in Internet forums.

Looking at the boxes, it appears you only need to get 4 of the What If wave figures to build Uatu? There does not appear to be any pieces with Spidey, Strange, or Zombie Cap. If this is the case my wallet thanks Hasbro!

My Hasbro days are probably over at this point. I think they are scraping the bottom of the barrel here.

THe only figures that sell are the classic costumes. I am not sure this will move units especially at their new price points.

Just being real here. That Hydra Stomper and Zombie Cap looks good enough to buy, otherwise, good luck Hasbro.

That Hydra Stomper will be at all online retailers not just Pulse right?

I hate Build a Figures, I'm glad I was able to get the Diamond Watcher.

Not feelin those pinless, stylized figs. Nice to see tigra but that about the only one i wanna get.

Definitely in for Zombie Cap, Captain Carter, and Hydra Stomper at least. I could be tempted to keep going and finish the Watcher once I start seeing these in person, or if the TV series really blows me away.

Very glad to see more of Tigra, I've been waiting years for her.

The Hasbro team needs to hire someone new to help with character selection.

#1 Being as they were 1 per case, you can never find any on the pegs.
#2 I don't want extra Stilt man legs as I just want the Red HAND Ninja loose, on ebay, they go for an avg of $28-$30+ loose. As Army builders, they woulda cost me $15 each. BBTS/DS doesn't sell them loose, ain't paying $25+ shipping for em. The iconic HAND Ninjas are Red, ya know, the ones that have fought against DD, Wolvie, Elektra, Punisher, etc. Not the White Chaste Ninjas, not the Black Ninjas. Those are not the classic HAND Ninjas

Captain ~~America~~ Britain(?) Peggy Carter looks amazing for a literally who character Marvel seems to want to push to the forefront. Kind of sad they put all that effort into a body that's unlikely to see too much reuse... although if they can somehow figure out a way to use some of the parts for a female SHIELD agent, that'll be great actually. The face is a lot better than the MCU Peggy we got too, even though that one used temprography.

Honestly the whole Watcher/WHAT IF... wave looks like solid figures of "eh" characters. Will probably end up getting them all, because good figures of bad characters trump bad figures of good characters any day tbh.

Tigra looked kind of bad in the proto they showed last time, but she looks great here. If this is the new standard female buck they're going forward with, I'm not too terribly upset.

Not sure making a wave of figures to go with a brand new TV show counts as "scraping" exactly, but ok.

As it is, however, everyone needs to budget their Hasbro purchases. The only one I'm buying for sure is Sylvie from the wave. I'll also pick up Tigra and a couple black ninjas because sure, but otherwise I'm fine with everything not being for me.

If that were the case Hasbro wouldn't be making movie figures lmao.

Other than maybe the Hand Ninja there's nothing particularly glaring with the character selection here.

Where do you live that any legends peg warm? Even the Shangchi stuff is sold out in 95% of places in the nyc metro area. Anything hasbro sells is instant gone here.

I look on these figs as an indication of things to come from Hot Toys. I hope they do a good sculpt of Hayley Atwell as Captain Carter.
