Been looking at a few of these guys and wondering how they would fit into my marvel universe collection. Namely I need to know how green goblin would fit in.. as he is the one I am eyeballing.
The marvel universe green goblin just sucks so bad.. his leg is constantly popping off and I really cannot get too many poses out of him. Thoughts? Anyone else do this, pics appreciated if you can! |

That other thread isn't really all that helpful. Which MLS look the best? As i've read that some look super good, and others are complete shit.

First pic.... Spiderman Doc Ock 3.75" - Toy Discussion at Toyark.com has Green Goblin, Doc Ock, & Venom Then here are Colossus, Cyclops, & probably the best of all of them Beast.

complete list I see of MLS figures.. do you own all and those are your reflections or are your statements just from pics? no judgement just curious,I know personally they fit in great with MU figures maily from pics and they're listed at the same size scale. Beast and moleman are the 2 standouts for me as they haven't been touched yet in the MU line. I think partly because they would have to construct brand new molds for these figures. Beast would sell, moleman not so much other then to collectors. Majority of them are compariable to MU figures some as mentioned have smaller heads, and some people prefer MLS versions of MU, vise versa.. I say their a great addition to anyone's collection, they're no long made so trying to collect them all can be done, but scalpers do charge a pretty penny for some of them.

From what i understand the figures main flaw is they are a tad on the flimsy side, but the figures i listed above have awesome articulation/sculpts! I thought about cyclops (jim lee) but look at his head.. Wtf is going on there? MU version is clearly superior.. Anyone who can refute this claim with pics please do so! |

These are just my opinions on each figure of course. Some of the earlier ones did seem flimsy. People claim MU is flimsy too. I guess I've been lucky enough that none of mine were as bad as some of theirs. |

The biggest issue I had with MLS was almost every figure I got had very loose joints, or the joints would fall apart on me just posing them. Never had that problem with MU. Sure, I've had stuck joint once or twice, but none of them are floppy or have issues with structural integrity.
There were only a few MLS figures that I would even consider surpassing their MU counterparts and that's because they don't have a counterpart. Yet.

The MLS Doc Ock I just got a few days ago (thanks to recommendations in the previously cited thread) is very solid. Paint is spot on, joints are neither loose or super tight, and nothing has "popped" off. If I didn't know he was from the MLS series, you wouldn't be able to tell him apart from the rest of the MU/Spidey lineup size-wise. My only complaint would be that the mechanical arms are short, and also they don't seem to stay in a pose.

The SW Doc Ock has a great head that can be swapped onto a Spidey-line version I suppose...though they Spidey Line Ock is a big disapointment. |

The MLS line never left me with a strong impression. I've only had the one Iron-Man tho, and I got it for free, so it wasn't all bad. Good articulation, but i believe the thigh joints were pretty loose. The legs kept coming off. This may be a thing throughout the line, but I dunno really.
But looking at that Beast makes me wanna see if I can find him cheap online. But I'm still holding for a modern MU figure at some point. |

Has anyone done any customs? As in switching heads and whatnot? I have the MU Magneto and due to its body sculpt it is one of my least favorite figures [which is very disappointing because it is one of my favorite characters]. If anyone has used a MLS Magneto body and switched the heads? Does it even work?

Can anyone tell me if the spidersense green things on the spidersense version of Spidy is removable? It looks like that version is cheaper but those green things look stupid.

Well i think some of these figures were ahead of their time especially GG & Magneto & the wolverine head sculpt doesn't look so bad but, mr fantastic's face is weird & his sideburns look really as if people just used whiteout on it
