Yeah like in the mid-2000s they just threw in this obsession with Mexican food for the character, specifically chimichangas to begin with. There was a point when Marvel just decided to amp up his clown levels to stupidly high, he was always meant to be a humorous character but it wasn't to the point that he was arguing with his own thought boxes.

Deadpool, Wolverine and Rogue will be the only 3 I get. Pretty disappointed in the rest, especially Jean Grey, her prototype image looks amazing, but the final product not so much.
Shartimusprime did bring up a very logical comment in his review about the brow wrinkles on the masked head of Deadpool though, showing the inconsistency over the squinted eye vs. the wide open one. The wrinkles go up on the wrong side and down on the open eye when it should've been reversed. But it's a minimal complaint and hard to notice I supposed, but still a valid point. Not sure how that wasn't better thought out. |

Seen the majority of the reviews for this wave, things could be better, but thinking about it its hasbros first proper sized x-men wave with spider-man and avengers standing next to them. 8 x-men related characters alone is nice sight from hasbro. I think they did a small budget on this wave maybe or medium not full, that's why some figures might be mediocre.
I pre-ordered this wave and still looking forward to receiving them all including wolverine! I bought this wave in hopes of a Kick-starter for hasbro for future x-men waves and maybe get the same treatment or better as the avenger figures, the avengers first movie wave was a Walmart exclusive, now look at them. So hasbro make more x-men and give me a modern beast and a new storm! I dont normally pre-order items unless i think they are going to be good. |

I'm not really a Hasbro collector anymore, so I don't really have a horse in this race. That being said, the new Legends figures are pretty much only good for their articulation and overall wide selection of the Marvel roster. Every review I've seen for this wave has had paint slop galore (which is funny, because they skimped out on using a lot of paint on most of these figures), derp eyes, weird sculpts and everything in-between.
I feel like, at the moment, Legends would be a decent-ish line if you want a collection that includes tons of selection from the Marvel roster, but as it stands all of these horrible QC issues (of which it's mind blowing that they're still around with the most recent waves) puts this line at total mediocrity for me in terms of quality. |

Phoenix is my most wanted toy because, well, it's Phoenix. Phoenix has been one of my favorite X-Men characters since I saw her in the cartoon as it was the first time Jean became some more than just the token love interest.

Deadpool, Wolverine, and Kitty Pryde are who I'm picking up from this wave. While I'm sure Kitty will be peg warming like a mofo, there's little doubt that Wolverine and ESPECIALLY Deadpool will be nigh impossible to find at retail.
Not a Deadpool fan, I see. |

Man, this thread just starts out salty
Can't wait to have Wade in-hand. He's actually the figure I want the least out of this wave, but he looks fantastic and his accessories are killer. And hey, when in doubt, pinky out. Even with tacos.

I really need to see how this Juggernaut compares to the Marvel Select one. That would be the only thing that could get me to buy the wholes set. But here's to hoping I can save some money :P

Deadpool looks great. Not a Marvel guy but grabbing him. The rest of the wave looks awesome, but I'm not an X-Men dude.

Not really. Didn't care for the character back in the 90s when he came out as he was just Deathstroke the Terminator Marvel Style. Then the number of Deadpool costumes at conventions is out of control to the point that I am so sick and tired of seeing Deadpool everywhere.
However, I would be lying if I didn't say the movie has lifted my dislike for him a bit as I enjoyed that a lot. Not enough to want to go read his comics though or not be sick of seeing so many cosplayers of him, but at least enough to want the new figure. Plus, it could be fun to insert him into pictures I take with my figures. I was looking at the Select stuff for the X-Men guys I would want to own, and they simply just don't appeal to me. It's nice to see the original Storm costume, but she has like 6 points of articulation. Wolverine doesn't even get any bicep swivel nor an ab crunch. Cyclops can't even touch his visor. The only thing these guys really have that would be useful to me are the danger room pieces and stuff.

I'm sort of surprised Wolverine would be the other one hard to get, I remember the TRU one warming a bit...

Of course they're not perfect. Some of the figures could have used an accessory here and there, but that's not exclusive for the X-Men and really a wider problem with all of Hasbro's Marvel Legends waves in general. Quote:

It's a good, new classic Wolverine, though, and in brown and yellow which I don't think Hasbro has ever done in Legends. Even without counting the extra hands, he looks a lot nicer than the previous couple ML Wolverines.

Great shots, nice and clean. I want that Wolverine, but will wait for a blue/yellow variant.

Awesome!
But yet another figure I'll never see in person. And if I ever do, there will be something wrong with the paint or the claws will be warped. |

Great pics! This has been my favorite look for Wolverine since I was a kid. I actually like the expression on him since I have the old Toy Biz version. What makes this one way better to me is the claws. Unlike the Toy Biz version, I have yet to see one of these with warped claws. The older ones were always warped, even trying to straighten them was a joke. I gotta have this.

You won't have and warping problems with these claws. Each Claw part can be removed from the fist and popped back in. This is going to be the default Wolverine for everybody. Don't pass if you want him and see at the store. Scalper city on this one.

Sucks how Wolverine and Deadpool are going to be hard to get because of the scalpers grabbing them up. Recently I've been noticing that someone in my area is cutting out the front plastic of the figures and taking out the figure or the build a figure part. It's really ridiculous.
