Look at that, after all the hub bub they are releasing it in the SDCC colors.
Much better than the colors released IMO and for all those not wanting to open their SDCC, they can now buy this instead.
Thanks for sharing the link James.

Couldn't agree more with you Omega! I am thrilled to see that Hasbro did the smart thing and repainted the original retail release sentinel, as I'm sure at CC they saw ppl buying 2-3 in some cases like 6-10 of these, and bet ya hardly nobody got the regular version, and last thing Hasbro wants to do is loose profits, so rather then have a bunch of peg warmers of sentinels sitting there, they did the best thing in repainting them and keeping them at retail pricing, Bravo Hasbro! Plus this also gives collectors and fans a like to own 2 different kinds of sentinels and 3 if you included the baf version, IMO is the best, but I'm going to consider snagging 2 of these down the road.

Problem is, you won't know if this will be like the Dark Galactus and never see the light of day in retail stores. If it's like you guys say, and your Sentinels are just shelf warmers now. What makes you think that TRU or Wal-Mart will restock? I also wonder if it will be coming with a different color Wolverine?

..I'm thinking this will never hit retail too. TRU will all be sitting on a pile of Galactus' and the silver Sents by Nov.. well, they already are by me.

The funny thing is I've grown to like the silver version from seeing all of the pictures, so I really don't give a shit what the colors are anymore.

I am so glad this has been confirmed so early. I did not want to open my SDCC Sentinel and I did not want any blue & silver ones. Even if it is only online, at lest 2 of them will be mine. Oh yes. I do not think this will affect the price of the SDCC one because besides the coloring the packaging is what made it special. Some of that price was the "need to have it now" mentality but over all these figs will keep there value like the BAF one.

Nice. I honestly like the Silver/Purple version a lot more in person than I initially thought I would, but this deco is still the winner. Let's hope the current Sentinels move enough that retailers will stock this one.

I personally do not have a local TRU,TARGET,DISNEY STORE, or some of your 3rd party outlets like Marshalls, JCPENNY etc, so I never see any of these figures, never saw the gigantic battles either, both old and new waves. no 3packs,xmen 5packs, only thing I can find locally is MU single packs, comic 2packs, spidey, ironman, thor, cap but the shelves are full of old stock and clearance pricing just isn't doing it, example: Tron, walmart and zellers is still full of these the 6'' retailling for $15.99 are now $10, and the 4'' were $9.99 now $5, the vehicles and such are down to 10-15 range, but still not enough for me to jump on them.

Lol I know what you mean. I finally found one at one of my comic shop this weekend. But they wanted 100 bucks for him. Just not sure If I wanted to pay that much. I'll wait and see if he goes down any from sitting there to long.

regardless, Im a MOC collector and all my collection is up on my wall in their packages. So to shell out money on a closed box with a cover that doesn't display well ain't my cup of tea. Ive done that once for the giant size x-men, only because they were not available any other way.

The Sentinel and Galactus on the blister card will always be my favorite display piece.

For display purpose I feel the same way. I wish I could get my hands on a SDCC Galactus thou

Dark Galactus sat on tru.com for a longgg time tho. It never hit stores, but sat online for a good while. And I doubt sdcc sentinel drops too much, it's still on card. Or.. at least some of ours are. :P

I'm more than happy with the first version of Sentinel that I picked up a couple months ago. If I had enough room(and funds) I'd get this one as well, but right now I just can't justify it.

I'd trade my Galactus for a Dark Galactus any day. I'm fine with my retail-colored Sentinel. Even gave it somewhat decent hand repulsors.

Now this I would like to see. That was one of the major complaints about the Sentinel besides being a total copy of Galactus with coverings. Show me some repulsors.

I agree with this. I would suggest to everyone who is interested to take this opportunity and preorder it now so that you'll be guaranteed one.
