Can you tell us what is needed for redemption of the MU Nick Fury Mail away? Most importantly what part of the package?

Check Marvel.com June 1st for a special announcement regarding the Nick Fury Figure!

Is there any further details on the MU Gigantic Battles like the first wave assortment and images?

Yes, the lineup for the initial wave is as follows: Goliath with Classic
Iron Man; Modern Captain America with Giant Skrull (from the pages of
Secret Invasion)!

Since the line is called Marvel Universe any chances of seeing other Hasbro/Marvel Comic characters from comics. Sectors, Transformers, G.I. Joe, MASK, Visionaries ect....?

Unfortunately, this is not a possibility due to various licensing issues.

"X-Men Origins:Wolverine":
Any info on the release date for wave 3, and the Deluxe series? Will there be additional movie characters eventually? Are Iceman, Cyclops, and Unmasked Wolverine the only new characters in wave 3? Is the line currently planned to continue past wave 3?

The third wave of X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the first wave of the
Deluxe Figures will hit shelves this summer. Iceman, Cyclops and
Wolverine will be the new figures in the wave; future waves of figures
will be unveiled in San Diego at Comic-Con this summer.

When will the Deadpool Mighty Mugg be released, and are ALL Mighty Muggs going to be TRU exclusive, or only Star Wars?

The Deadpool Mugg will probably not make it to shelf until the end of the year. TRU is definitely planning to continue with Marvel Muggs but they are not planned to be exclusive.

Okay. I thought it was confirmed before that all Mighty Muggs were going to be TRU exclusives. Now they say "No, they are not". Which is it?

And we still have to wait another month for the Nick Fury info? Damn, I can't wait.

In the first photo, is that Iron Man classic in stealth mode or something else? The repulsor blast looks amazing.

Also, I'm really crossing my fingers for a Ryan Reynolds Wade Wilson figure soon, because he was the best part of Wolverine

One - 18th.com • View topic - Questions for the next Marvel Q & A

one-18th.com got their answers too...

Quote:
1. Has there been any thought to packaging alternate heads (unmasked) or hands (like say a fisted hand with a character named Iron Fist) with the Marvel Universe figs?
No plans for additional pieces in these packs.but, be on the lookout for an Iron Fist variant sometime soon.

2. Are there any plans for a general release of the figures in the United Kingdom? The Wolverine: Origins and Wolverine Animated figures are already showing up on the shelves. The Marvel Universe range would complement these, especially as several monthly Marvel titles are on the newsagents shelves.
Yes, Universe should be hitting in the UK by late summer. The stronger the demand for the figures, the more of them you'll see!

3. How is it decided who gets made when? just as an example, why was human torch the first of the fantastic four made?
Usually, our team will sit down together and vigorously debate the wave lineups. This is actually one of our favorite things to do. It comes down to striking a nice balance between heavy hitting "A" characters & the fan favorites while mixing in some "what the...!"

4. Why is there such a huge difference in Hip articulation between Wolverine Origins and MU, it would seem more cost effective to have both lines more compatable. It looks like the Wolverine Origins line has Marvel Legends' style hips, while Marvel Universe has the G.I. Joe 25A style hip.
For these lines there are two design teams that work closely together. The intent is for both of these lines to mesh nicely together and complement one another. However, each team has made some individual choices when it comes articulation, etc.

5. Our entry for the "Oh God, I want these made" figures... New Warriors, the eXiles and ROM: Spaceknight. Any chance any of these will see the light of day?
These are definitely within the realm of possibility along with Rick Jones, Batroc the Leaper, Shatterstar and the Rocket Racer. Nothing is off the table when it comes to our character selection discussions!
I really want some mid-swivel articulation for the female characters.

Maybe Hasbro meant the Star Wars MM would be exclusive, while the others would not. There was some confusion before with one of the SW Q&As about them.

In any event, it seems that the Marvel MM are not going to be exclusives.

Before the Q&A, I figured we would have to wait until SDCC, so this is good news for me.

Further to Goldbug's post,
We in the UK can expect to see the MU line kicking off with the Secret Wras 2-packs, starting in July
(according to H-UK, anyway)

Cheers,
Doug

The new female sculpting is good news. Hopefully, it will be added before any other female characters get released.

The upshot is they could still use the Ms. Marvel mold for less Superhero-y(R) characters, like Mary Jane or Gwen Stacey.

Actually I think Firestar is going to be using the same body.

Yeah, she is. But I'm not surprised because that set was probably already in the works before they decided to add more articulation.

And it's not that I mind the current mold, really. I just hope the new sculpting will help mix things up visually. For example, I wouldn't want the Ms. Marvel mold to be used for the Secret Wars 2-Pack Spider-Woman, though that may already be the case.

So I know that Archangel has been annouced per the fan choice poll, however, are we to assume that he (like others) will see multiple variants?

As long as I get him in his current X-Force threads I'm happy. I really want to complete my X-Force team in this scale.

What I don't want to see is a repaint with a different head mold for Angel. Unless they do a remold of the Wings. I have yet to see a proper Archangel done, IMO, mostly because it's usually Archangel's head on top of Angel's mold with Angel's wings painted Silver, the only exception I can think of were the old X-men toys where he shot missles out.

Please, get his metal wings right for MU!

Also, if X-23 does get made I would really rather have her packed with additional feet as accessories instead of a gun or something. Just pack alternate feet with the blade coming out of each and I think that's more than enough.

They mentioned batroc, he's a poll figure. >_<

Recently they've also mentioned one's a he. I really hope out of the remaining choices, this is just misinformation teased.

I want the rest of X-Force too, but I wonder if they could do a foldaway footbladein X-23 since she doesn't wear heals. Though swapable feet work too, it'd need to be like her Academy X suit she fought lady deathstrike in so the swap parts don't get too thin. Thin ones aren't easy to swap.
