I haven't seen this listed on here as of yet... Marvel Select is making the Rhino!
MTV Geek – Exclusive First Look: DST is Charging Into Stores With the Marvel Select Rhino Do not hotlink photos. -Toyark Staff Sorry my bad... I can't wait to pick this figure up. Marvel Select has been doing an amazing job lately with these big figures. Last edited by 1987olds442; 05-18-2012 at 03:54 AM.. |

This looks great, I find MS nails the big guys and does them well, the smaller guys is hit and miss due to limited articulation.

Looks outstanding!!
And a fair bit cheaper than the ML Fearsome Foes Rhino. I'll definitely grab him, and this is timely news for me as I'm plotting my Spiderman Legends shelf out. |

I use the bigger MS guys like Juggernaut, Abomination, Ultimate Thor and Ultimate Hulk, and Thanos and Mephisto to replace my ML versions or help fill out the lines with characters that ML does not do. If MS fit in scale with ML well enough, I replace the ML. Rhino looks great, so I will have to see how he looks in person, but he will probably replace my ML Rhino since the ML one is not very big.

Looks fantastic. If they could start doing to their smaller/reg sized figs what they're doing with these behemoths (Avengers Movie Hulk is incredible), I'd collect all of these.
Nice. I started doing that a few months ago too... I figure the Spidey figures might be a little more in demand after the new movie hits. Legends Rhino is now crossed off the list.

I got rid of all my MU and MS stuff, but I'm really considering getting this guy. I've been waiting for a Rhino figure like this for a long time, and while I'm exclusively collecting Battle Beasts, M.U.S.C.L.E.s, and eventually the new Beast Saga line, this may prove to be too good to resist!

The flip side of the coin is MS has limited range articulation. I really hope I can get the Rhino into a good charging pose. I might have to mod his neck to look up/forward when charging. but he's bought for sure. My stand in Ultimate Rhino ML can now be allocated to the customs fodder bin. I may need those forearms and calves for a Bulldozer custom to join my Wrecking crew.
..MORE articulated than Legends versions.

I hope that becomes the trend and not the exception! The Hulk looks great, Rhino seems to have the more comic articulation associated with say, Abomination or Juggy. I appreciate the chest swivel joint, I'm content with what I see. I just wonder about the neck, as the will be crucial for the charging pose. But the sculpt is awesome, the teeth and face are perfect.

That does look good but a bit simplistic compared to their previous offerings like Hulk.

I'm about to start buying the good Marvel Selects.
This one definitely qualifies.

Red hulk, green hulk (the older one not the new one), anti venom, abomination, thanos I'm getting the new hulk to replace the other one soon enough but i'd rather have other characters than just update the ones I already have. Juggy is nice too, i'm going to pick him up eventually. This rhino is fantastic. I got nervous when they released green goblin and ultron. |

Are these usually $20 when they're released? Even the big guys?

..and they're very easy to find; unlike some of the Legends and MU figures.

Considering the leap in price recently for Legends toys, MS stuff is looking better and better, unless of course their prices start going up as well. In fact, Legends are practically $20 at TRU already.

Rhino looks great. I know I wonder if those things on either side of his head are ears or eyes. I know its weird, but its kinda odd. Still like I said Rhino is badass looking. Oh one more thing be careful this Rhino might GORE! GORE! GORE! other figures. LOL

I know there isn't really a chance of this happening, but what I would love to see is the reissue some of the big Marvel Select figures i.e. Thanos, Juggernaut, etc. with a slight remold of the lower legs to incorporate the new ankle joints. Like I said it isn't likely to ever happen, but it would be nice.
