I want to support this, but my wife freaked when I supported the Marauder Valkyrie kickstarter. Not sure how I will swing it. I am definitely going to support Eagle Force when that goes live. I can't imagine many fans of modern GI Joes won't support that and the leader is a perfect Nick Fury in military fatigues.

I like the kickstarter stuff, it most are like $20 per figure and $30 to ship international. Also, they are just (as someone said) background fodder or goons. Meh.

Yeah I agree, these would be good troop builders. Many applications; just how hardcore is the price in such an endevour? I wonder what they will cost each if they kickstart.

Which admittedly is the exact same price as the Kickstarter for a single figure however if people buy the 7 figure set it is roughly $14.29/figure (saves $40).

Thanks for a bunch of responses. I may sit out the kickstarters until they either a) get the licenses I would like (a la funko) or until they hit retail. Btw, iamelemental is $50 on zoolilly for the 7 fig wave one lunchbox set.
I'm a sucker for clearance toys. Let me know when the boss fight stuff drops below $10 shipped. :-) |

I used the other Skyrim figure and one of the Magic figures as Giants. I'm thing about painting them blue to be frost giants but haven't yet. |

I just love this scale and try my best to help facilitate the smaller lesser known items out there. I tend to like and appreciate those more than the heavily mass produced stuff. |

Yes I saw someone do that with the Magic figure and got the same motivation, then I bought a couple. With this guy I plan on using him as an "animated armor" that the Dark Elf enchanters use to deter thier enemies as they cast spells (old Everquest nerd here). Something to keep Thor/Strange/Hercules/Valkyrie busy in my setups. I may pickup the other guy and do the same as you and paint him blue or make him a "barbarian". So I was looking to buy a Marvel Legends Fin Fang Foom, and I found the Heroclix one which is roughly the same size (16" tall), but it doesn't have any articulation. Pretty good stand in considering it can be had for around $80-$120 if you're patient, here's a photo someone took with that looks like an MU Iron Man in it's hand:
I'm still gonna roll with the Legends one, but I MIGHT pick up the Orange variant of this for comparison's sake, provided I can find it for a reasonable price. There's also a variant with purple Hulk pants on. Last edited by Zend; 02-19-2016 at 02:08 PM.. |

I couldn't find a size comparison for this guy anywhere. As far as the iron man in his hand, it is defintely not an MU ironman, so I thought it might the the secret wars iron man(5") but isn't that one either.

Can't be a ML that Foom is 13" tall. Legends would be about the size of that sentinel there. Maybe it's one of those static figures you see in a set with Hulk and Black widow. From Mediacom maybe?
He might not be 1:18 but it's still pretty impressive. Here is a picture of him holding some Mega Block WoW figures. Last edited by theArchivist; 02-19-2016 at 04:16 PM.. |

Picked up the new Spider Man kids line Green Goblin - makes a passable Ultimate Green Goblin since this is an under sized 6 inch figure and the character was huge in comics. Not sure why Marvel made their kids Spider line 6 inches though. Grumble.
