1:16 is way too big
the problem is some 1:18 companies aren't making true 1:18 items Here are some that fit... |

4" for MU is 1:18 scale. Almost every character is listed as being around 6' which is 72", 4:72 is equivalent to 1:18. You can use whatever scale you prefer, since not every figure figure even follows the scale (Moon Knight is 6'2" yet his MU figure is shorter than the Wolverine Astonishing version, Wolverine is 5'3"). I use a 1:18 scale Maisto Harley for Ghost Rider and it works great, though this may not be true for every single vehicle claiming 1:18 scale typically it works well enough.

You may be right that my bike is too small for your taste, but that's probably more the bike than the scale. I use a 2006 HD Night Train which is only around 95" long, so It isn't as big of a rig as you might expect.
It is though appropriately in scale.

The bike and the rider in the above pic look to scale. Ghosty and his bike do not. Something is off. I've bought a lot of 1:18 bikes and cars, and with very few exceptions they are all too small for the figures (hence why figures don't really fit in 1:18 cars, and stand too tall next to them). The difference isn't huge, but if there was an 'adult', 'junior' and 'infant' version, they always look like adults on the junior version if you know what I mean.
I think what Golbug said is right - maybe many of the 1:18 vehicles are slightly underscaled. My eye prefers slightly over to slightly under if the scale isn't right so I'm also emphasising a prejudice I have for scaling with figures. I just looked at the bike that came with Indiana Jones Mutt. The bike seems scaled well for the figure and is more or less the same scale as other 1:18 bikes I have. I see that the Indiana Jones figures are just a little under 4 inches, but that MU and Joe are about 4 1/2 inches tall, and they seem too big for the bikes. It might be a combination of figures larger than 4 inches and some vehicles scaled slightly under creating this. |

So I'd really have to do some digging to find vehicles that would go in scale... it's probably best that I return some of the stuff I got from ross at the 1:18 scale and wait for ones that are better quality

I should hope a picture of a real person looks to scale, heh heh. The pic I posted of G.R. probably wasn't best for scale, it being an action pic and all, here is a side view of the bike with rider relatively lined up with the actual person on bike pic.
Sorry you have to see my fingers there too. I'm not trying to say you're wrong for using 1:16 and that I'm right for using 1:18, but you can see that G.R. is just taller than the actual rider and he's not completely sat down. I apologize if I'm coming off as trying too hard to prove a point here, though I will agree: better to go slightly too big than too small.

I think 1:18 works well with dios, and since it's the most common size it's an easy choice. Until people start making 1:17, 1:16, 1:15 in abundance, people can't pick and choose what does and doesn't fit best. (Fyi, I wasn't trying to criticise you for choosing 1:18 or anything - I use 1:18 bikes too!) Ironically, I buy a lot of dolls house stuff, and that's supposed to be 1:12 but usually scales perfectly with things like MU - go figure! |

All I know is 6 inch or 3.75 inch..so I am lost at the 1:12 - 1:18 aspect I just need to know if I have a 6 in figure and wanted to buy accessories that are list scale wise by 1:12-1:24 which is the most correct? same for the 3.75 figures Thanks |

I couldn't see the pic unless I quoted you and copied and pasted. Eww the movie bike, not even the bike (that's personal preference), but what an awful movie. Both of those movies didn't do Ghost Rider justice.

wait until you guys see the playset i found for AIM..... I just have to save up for it. I have a small toy budget.... it costs 40, but I am looking for a used one. I will post NEXT month when i get it!
Almost went for this one though... a NICE perfect in scale vehicle for AIM. Just add some "science stuff" and a few death rays and weapons... Bobs your uncle. I decided for a playset instead of a vehicle though. This COULD have been sweet though. Got a good look at one earlier and the scale and colour are PERFECT http://image.dhgate.com/albu_2120120...-20-inches.jpg http://wall-e.my.id/wp-content/uploa...4/01/60210.jpg

All the Wal-Mart "Adventure Wheels" & CP Toys Swamp People, Duck Dynasty redneck action figures are perfect scale for 3.75 figures. LOL
Toys R Us has some cool stuff in the education toys aisle too with the Animal Planet figures. Sharks, animals, all sorts of crazy crap.

Here is my A.I.M. playset.... Next pic shows scale. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_LBMV6U8u_R...0/gf_tlp_9.jpg When I get it, I will post pics of my 10 A.I.M. agents, custom Scientist Supreme and baf M.O.D.O.K. all up in it!! Got a few TMNT slime tubes and the part that makes the plate in a microwave spin. Sounds weird, but I popped a space scene in it and it looks like a KILLER portal to space! Might be a couple of months before I get it. I am on a tight toy budget and would need to save up. It shall be ours soon though....
