Since the Animal Warriors of the Kingdom Kickstarter is ending in less than 2 weeks, I thought I'd pop in and offer some suggestions of some of the Marvel characters you can make with these figures:
Gorilla Man (Ken Hale) Gorilla Man (Dr Nagan) Puma Werewolf by Night Mandrill Man-Wolf Gibbon Mongoose Man Beast Red Ghost's Super Apes Ape-X Jaguar Ani-Men High Evolutionary's New Men And, if the large gorilla figure is unlocked, Sasquatch, Wendigo, and Man-Ape. It looks unlikely that they're going to raise that much money, but I thought I'd still mention it. I'm in for a handful of figures (I'm going to put a Marauders head on an ape body for a quick and easy Dr Nagan). I'm excited about this line and I hope it gets funded. There's a lack of good animal figures out there. |

Great stuff as always Archivist!!! You are the man.
So, it's official. I am buying THIS to add to my new Spider-Man diorama. Fits in perfectly in our beloved scale. I have had my eye on it for awhile now and have seen one in person on display in a toy shop. As some of you know, I am a huge fan of playsets. Playmobil does some amazing items. The figures are 3" though, so if doors or chairs or other items that will show relative size-then it doesn't work. If however, you can find something without chairs and doors (or find a way to hide them) then you're in. Like Lord Mudd posted one page back. Playmobil stuff rocks!!!! And this new GB firehouse will look the business in the new set up.

We have a huge amount of Pkaymobil knights from when he was way younger. Pre-Marvel toy days. They are really great toys too.

The sculpt on the exterior is nicely detailed. Brick for brick.
At this point, where 1:18 scaled playsets are an endangered species, you have to take what you can get. As mentioned before, Playmobil is plausible for the 3 3/4 inch scale. Moreso for the shorter end of that spectrum like ARAH Joes and the recent Funko's. Last edited by Sender; 06-08-2017 at 04:57 PM.. |

Agreed on all points. That is why IF you do use them with MU, you have to avoid things that make them look like giants. Furniture, command centre pieces, doorways, handrails and the like. That stuff is a DEAD giveaway that something is off. The GB.HQ has a door sticker on the side, hoping to simply place a large dumpster or something in front of it. I will also just slide the open end against the Daily Bugle playset.

The quality is good on them. I picked up the full set and haven't had any issues (aside from the sort of iffy face paint that SilverCenturion mentioned).
The Hardballer is amazing! It's loaded with cool features. Lost Planet 2: 1/18 Scale PTX-140R Hardballer Vital Suit (Desert Version) - Lost Planet Lost Planet Last edited by SilverCenturion; 06-09-2017 at 11:17 AM.. |

Inhumams GORGON. Scales pretty exact in my opinion. A little retro and feeling his aga compared to modern action figures. He will just spend his life soon on a shelf posed behind the rest of the Royal Family of Attilan. So it does not matter. Toy Biz Fantastic Four 1995 5" line. Bought him off American ebay for less than 10 dollars. Shipping was more than the figure. Overall I'm well pleased.

that old toybiz line has tons of figures that work well with the 4 inch scale, some of which don't even have that "retro look" so they don't look out of place next to modern figures.

(oops, want to 'quote' T.A. but clicked wrong one)....while I'm here. Good point Mudd, never thought of it. Looks.tricky as it might not stick? Maybe sand the figure and primer the whole thing? Hmm.... it would help a lot. Food for thought.

It has its merits as is, in my opinion. Plus he will be largely shelved behind the other inhumans. Save the repainting further down the toy bucket list less he is a favorite of yours or your son's. |

I love mine!
Pro tip: If you put a tiny dab of blu-tac on the bum area of the seat, they don't slide down and make the seats look big.

God I hope that second assessment is correct. 3.75 MvC figures would make my year, considering that's what I'm already shooting for with supplemental lines and customs.
