Every time I look at Toyark's full list of DBZ Figuarts I cry a little.
I want a line like that in this scale.

Pokémon Scale World headin' to Johto. Not all of these figures have been proper 1:18 scale that you would imagine but the bigger ones, at least, scale better than the SHODO.

Yeah and there are so many characters they left out in favor of just giving us the same ones with different hair.

Given how the new Figuarts Oozaru Vegeta will be large, but obviously not to scale with the rest of the line, I would argue that it would look better with either the Shodo Neo or original Shodo figures from Battle of the Gods.
https://www.tamashiinations.com/prod..._oozaruvegeta/ Honestly though, I would feel more inclined to buy a figuarts Oozaru Baby Vegeta for $180, but I don't feel like paying $200 to customize a Toybiz Monkeyman like everyone else with a decent Oozaru. |

I just ordered that guy last week, didn't watch the show but I liked how the Taros looked.
Who/what is the middle guy sitting down?

Honestly? I can say from experience with Alucard that due to being slightly too small for actual 1:12 displays, certain 14-15 cm Revoltech figures from the early days can pass in a 1:18 display.
Take their early Anime/ Manga Kenshiro for instance. Canonically he's 6'1" (by character model IMO he's seems slightly taller) yet is under size compared to other Revoltech clearly in the 1:12 scale. https://bd77.wordpress.com/2013/05/2...ltech-snake/5/ Here, even though it's blurry, you can tell that Ken's head isn't much larger than 1:18 scale revoltech. Ryu, mind you, is standing somewhat outstretched, he might be closer in height to Dante if his pose was more vanilla. For translation, Ryu would be about the size of a standard 4.25 height that Ken is next to this MU mold. https://www.flickr.com/photos/980827...yer/3208b97fd9 The only exception might be the revolution figures, which seem to be taller than the Anime ones. I'm not sure, but looking at rey next to Kenshiro, both from the same line, I'm not 100% Will have to rewatch the anime or other sources to see how they should compare. Looking at this review, Red skull ought to be at the smaller end and comes up to Revolution Kenshiro's waist. You be the judge, but the head proportion rule seems to to be true here as well. Kenshiro Revoltech action figure - Another Pop Culture Collectible Review by Michael Crawford, Captain Toy For reference, othr people came to similar conclusions for Revoltech's Big Chap and Ultron. http://www.toyark.com/gi-joe-vs-alie...-review-13945/ The Bandai S.H. I got excited when Alucard was mentioned but it was Hellsing not Castlevania.
Revoltech amd Figma figures are still too tall for me. They might work better in fighting poses for others though. I did get the Mini Revol Evangelion stuff but the girls were taller than the mechas.

The first Kamen Rider show I saw was Black, didn't really follow up unto the sequel. I tried to watch the western Masked Rider but it was blergh for me.
But you're excited, so good for you. We do need more bad guys! I would like Bilgenia made or as my younger self would call him - the Red Cockroach

It seems they finally will give us some Shodo Sentai, starting by Sun Vulcan:
Lots of paint apps in these... I guess they'll be exclusives? Saw it here: ã€3月23日発売ï¼ã€‘ 「食玩ベースã€ã §ãƒ•ã‚£ã‚®ãƒ¥ã‚¢ã‚’楽 ã—ãディスプレã ¤ï¼ - ãƒãƒ³ãƒ€ã‚¤ ã‚*ャンディ スタッフ BLOG |

The Sun Vulcan set of Shodo Super was released at the end of February. Premium Bandai exclusive.
What that blog is about is the Shokugan Base (Shokugan being the word we commonly translate as candy toys). These are stands made specifically for Shodo and G-Frame and other candy toys like SO-DO, YU-DO, maybe even Minipla. They're basically mini Figuarts stands for smaller toys. |

Yeah, there was a collection around 2009/2010. I only ever got the Red Ranger. I wish I'd have picked up them all. Particularly want the Pink and Green Ranger, Lord Zedd.
Was honestly thinking of picking up the 90s Power Ranger movie 4" figures as the designs are quite cool, though limited articulation. But better looking than most figs of that era.

https://news.tokunation.com/2020/04/...revealed-66838 Also, while we're at it, Shodo Digimon is a thing now to. Though it does seem to be the smaller size like the DBZ and Pokemon Shodo figures are. But hey, I'm excited to get some decent Digimon action figures that don't cost an arm and a leg and have a selection I want. https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=GOODS-00395190 There's already a wave two teased to. |
