Great line so far but whats with putting 2 of the same character in the same wave? Do we really need both Ms Marvels in the same wave because we certainly didn't need 2 IM's AND 2 Human Torch's in W.1

Nice job, Trebleshot, this is a great thread, I love checklists

I saw the burning Human Torch today, I have not seen him before anywhere, I kind of regret not picking him up.

Yes. Plus it was leaked on the FuryFiles website when it became live. They fixed the problem now.

My thinking is that they are trying to appeal to more collectors and fans that way. Some may like one version of the character over the other, and by doing this, Hasbro has their bases covered. Some may pick up the Modern Ms. Danvers, while others only want the classic duds.

Hasbro has been quoted on several occasions that they never expect any one to buy every single toy they release in a given line. They just want some of them to be bought by as many people as possible.

So there are probably several people less OCD than I who will only buy one version of each character and call it a day. There are probably even more who will only pick up a couple of their favorites.

Thanks! I've added them to the list. Hopefully, we'll get some confirmation on the number order soon too.

Me too.

And I will eventually get both versions of Johnny. I'm trying to focus on the ones that are harder to get and Hothead has been seen at every store around me for a couple weeks now.

Marvel Universe (toyline) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Wiki, which myself and someone I don't know have been keeping up with, covers pretty much everything in Hasbro's new 3 3/4" lines (meaning as well as MU, lists for XMO: Wolverine, and W&XM), including correct figure numbers for wave 3.

Well it also helps that the 'classic' Ms. Marvel is soon to become the Modern Ms. Marvel due to Dark Reign. The 'Modern' Ms. Marvel is taking the back burner for awhile, that and her outfit has been around since the early 80s. Prior to her Binary days. Then brought back when she became warbird. Are we sure this is the classic ms. marvel and not moonstone posing as her like in Dark Reign and Dark Avengers? Because both Ms. Marvels are 'modern' now. Just one's not Carol Danvers.

Well, you can make of it what you wish, but the toy is officially Carol Danvers in her "classic" Ms. Marvel costume. Although it's not quite accurate since the original costume was open around the stomach, while Moonstone's version is (was) not. But Moonstone's face mask is different from the original as well, while the "classic" toy follows Carol's original mask design.

So it's a bit of both. That clears it up, and thanks for the Bio verification alongside the packaging one.

Nothing official yet, but typically HTS will carry some SDCC exclusives after the convention is done. Usually they will go up for sale the Monday after.

Also, Winter Soldier, Mystique, Havok, Mary Jane Parker and Archangel have been announced as part of the Fan's Choice Wave for 2010.

Two more for the wave will be announced at SDCC.

I'm holding off on listing the Fan Choice figures until we get confirmation on whether they will be part of the regular numbering, or if they will be separate like Secret Wars, et al.

Hopefully, this will be clarified during SDCC, along with what the other 2 figures in that wave will be.

A lot of the wave 1 and 2 figures you're seeing now are filler for cases that contain waves 3 and 4. One case has 12 figures in it and as you can see from the list above, none of the waves have 12 unique figures in them. So to fill out the case, earlier releases and the occasional redeco/remold are added to it to make up for that extra space.

BBTS will usually list the case ratios for their case listings, if you're curious as to what each case version contains.

Unfortunately, Bullseye was not one of the figures picked to appear with later waves and for all practical purposes was shortpacked (wave 1 cases only had one of each character except Spider-Man, who had 2).

Yeah, I've only ever seen Bullseye once and I picked him up right way, at K Mart of all places(around here, K-Mart has had the same Iron Man, Human Torch, Human Torch and Human Torch since MU released).

I had a feeling that Bullseye would be made difficult to get. I figure that they'll probably release a comic accurate solid black figure sometime in the next year, so people will have a chance at it again. He's a great figure, one of my top favorites of the line. Hope you can find one!

The only time I have ever seen Bullseye was in comic shops, never at chain retail stores. I ended up having to pay almost $12 to get him, but I did so without hesitation.
