I got the Giant-Size X-Men 6pk, and the Daken/Venom 2pk today (technically yesterday). I also saw the Patch/Silver Samurai 2pk (too low on funds to get) , and remnants of a w13 case (pissed).

TRU in Redwood City, CA had 3 two days ago. I bought 1. I don't know if they'll still be there but I can check tomorrow night. It's 37.99 here. I let you know.

I would, but those went to his collection, not mine. I have a feeling that these sets will be easier to find as time goes on, so just be patient and wait it out. That said, my good friend did score an extra Cable for me, so I can open it up and put that awesome little fucker on my shelf. The only "rare" stuff I can score for my fellow Arkers right now are the Gigantic Battles sets, which I'd have to go pick up from local stores because my only extra ones are the loose Loki, 2 Frost Giants, and a Ben Foster and Ragnarok. I've sacrificed my time and money a few times to set up similar figures for people that seemed like the would appreciate them, and it looks like I will do so as long as I can without going completely broke.

I went through 4 yesterday and did not find a variant. Besides the Nightcrawler, what is different?

No variants in Louisville, KY either. Pretty safe to say there have been no variant cases shipped to the US yet.
Doesn't matter. It kinda sucks anyway. |

Are you guys like me & can't stand how they make wolverine figures with the XMOW sculpts & not with the same MU sculpts that represent him well?

To be honest I'm pretty sick of Wolverine period. He's been done to death whether it be MU or comic packs. Bring on new characters!! Can't wait for Wonder Man, Dr. Strange, Quicksilver, and Adam Warlock!

The MU sculpts are way too tall. The XMOW are much better.

The height is just right and they even have the little metal notches his claws come out of on the gloves.. very awesome version. Ended up ditching my target 2 pack and SHS versions in favor of this one. |

This is my first XMOW sculpt wolverine and I think its excellent man you crazy!
The height is just right and they even have the little metal notches his claws come out of on the gloves.. very awesome version. Ended up ditching my target 2 pack and SHS versions in favor of this one. The XMOW figures have them way too small for my hands & it one time took me half an hour just to align the ball to the way I wanted it. The claws are made too effortlessly & in the 90's & 80's were kind of standard for Wolveine but we are in 2011 & the fact of the matter is they can make the figure better if they do the articulation & details right. The Captain America figures should have articulation like the MU figures so that way their arms can move like that of a normal person & they don't look like they're in a sling. The detail does make me want them but the articulation on the arms bother me but otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to get them. |

Just went to TRU in Brockton. They told me that yesterday one guy bought all 4 they had. Which totally goes against there policy on collectables because when I want to buy more than 2 troupers they hassle me about it. F them I only want the variant set anyway.
