Glad you gave it a 5 out of 10. It looks to stubby and bright IMO. Still a fan of the BAF Sentinel much more.

SDCC version is fantastic. Does this one smell like pot, too?

Yeah the color scheme on this one threw me off. I don't remember that shit from anywhere! Detail looks good. Glad it can be used as a murder weapon and is sturdy.

Still the same exact figure, only difference is the paint. I have the SDCC Sentinel and was hoping for it to appeal to me more once I had it in hand but it just doesnt do it for me. I think i'd rather try and do a trade for another BAF Sentinel. I really like the detailed paint job and more worn look on the BAF as opposted to the colorful shiny paint of the Masterworks Sentinel.

Some less incriminating uses include doorstop and paperweight.

I really wanted to like this figure and was ready to shell out big bucks for a small 2-3 army but the fact that it's a straight Galactus repaint with a new head and lower legs is totally pathetic effort by Hasbro. Yes, the ML Sentinel is superior in every way, unfortunately. |

				 | Quote: Two other ways that the new Sentinel is better than ML is price and availability at the moment. The price is wildly variable online for the BAF, but I was able to get the new Sentinel at TRU with a coupon for $40. But in many other ways, the ML is better. |

I have both the ML Sentinel and now the MU version. Overall, I would have to say the ML is superior in detail minus the electronics. I don't understand why the MU version has the legs so muscular. It's a robot. There shouldn't be muscle definition on a robot.

If you're throwing cost out the window then yes, the BAF version is a little nicer. A Benz is also nicer than my Acura, but it's twice the price.

Before this was released and at first I heard nothing but great things about this. Kinda surprised to now see this review and other peoples negative views on it. Its decent at best in my eyes and I still feel the same way about it before it even came out. Upon release there was a frenzy trying to buy then and now they are plentiful at every TRU i've been to. This is 50 and you can buy the ML BAF for 60 and is a much better figure IMO. Articulated fingers, each BAF having it's own differences in paint, more darker/realistic paint job are all postivies over the so called "Masterworks" Sentinel. With that being said, I have 2 of the SDCC exclusives, .

^ All very valid points. But the new Sentinel fits better with MU figures, color-wise.

Yeah I have to agree with Ludivicotek . there is pro and con's for this figure I own 3 of the ML and 2 of the MU Sentinel. working on getting another MU just for a small army of mutant killing machines lol . but hey Hasbor could gave us a a uglier figure but they did not . so Im happy for it .
