Wow, didn't these get canceled initially because Bioware was mad at DC for not getting the figures out on time?...I wonder what changed to make them reconsider?...in any case, I'm gonna have to get all of these figures now. ;D

I love the mass effect series. Does anyone know what scale these are? They look to be 6".
Nevermind. Just clicked the link and saw its with dc direct so I'm assuming its going to be in scale with the rest of their figures. Last edited by Symbiote; 12-09-2011 at 11:54 AM.. |

I'd be interested if these were made by almost anyone other than dc direct, but as is these aren't gonna be purchased.

It seems DC Direct has a bad habit of taking on projects that they do not have time for, then the company who hired them gets pissed, with every right, when DCD cannot make a deadline.

I passed on the first wave due to them telling us they were not going to do the second wave. Good thing they are doing a rerelease on the first wave so now I can pick them all up! Yeah!

hell i never seen these in comic shops let alone know they got canned...that musta been what happened ot dragon age figures that were supposed to come out....maybe DCD should stop taking on projects unless they are gonna finish em...i mean hell they still keep crakning out green lantern crap....best finish up dragon age and mass effect as those are two properties that are currently really hot. hope these see a much wider distribution in greater numbers this time!

I can't believe these are happening... Excitement is not the word to describe how I feel right now. Excitement is too weak of a word.

I have Shepard and Thane from series 1. They're really awesome! I was pissed when they cancelled series 2. Now excitement is back. I can finally get my Miranda and Garrus!!

I wish Hasbro got the license for these. I'd buy them if they were GI Joe scale. But I have no use for these big ass, over-priced statues.

Hasbro would most likely butcher these figures in detail. Especially if they were in a 3.75" scale. If you want a really well detailed figure, it has to be at least 6 or 7 inches. I would rather see NECA make these though... They keep the detail and give articulation, plus all of their video game figures so far have been pretty solid. I'm just happy they're getting made though.
