I donated mine to Toys for Tots, as I couldn't even sell them for $30.

Well, I think Zodak's demand went up since Matty revealed this unmasked head will be coming with Strobo. That is what made me pick up a second Zodak.

I got my new era Zodak for 20 bucks loose at auction. I am not sure that he is in that much demand. But besides Teela and Shadow Weaver none of the rest becken 40 +. Which is great for the starting collector.

Very nice. My numerous Matty Black Friday stuff will be trickling in today and tomorrow.
..I'm still bitter as hell that I missed Marlena. There was literally an hour last Monday that I didn't check it. Left to go to the gym and I think Leech was up, 50 minutes later I'm back home and Marlena is up and sold out.

Yeah she went real fast. Thankfully she came up at 8 and my normal gym time is 9. I made sure to keep my ass home all day in case they did something awesome like have some Shadow Weavers.. Bastards.

I meant to keep up with it on my iPhone at the gym, but I zoned out and forgot. Maybe next time.
In other news I wanted to mention that Logistics seems to have really cleaned up their act (or their partnership with Matty has). The last order I had with them only took a week, and two orders I placed during the sale last week are on my door step right now which is only six days after they shipped. I live in PA, so it's on the opposite side of the country as Matty's warehouse. Up until about Sept or Oct this method was consistently taking 2.5 weeks. Something has changed for the better there so if anyone wants to save a few bucks, you might be happy with the results.

Yeah I noticed that as well. Marlena & Vykron came via Newgistics/USPS. I decided I could be patient to take advantage of the shipping discount. Paid off this time!

My order from 11/21 is still in process. I'm even farther away from the warehouse. I don't think they "fixed" anything.
**Update** TOD Sorceress has shipped only took 15 days

So, did anyone else get an email from Matty about "your Thank You Gift?" For those that don't know, I think only the 2012 subbers got this email abd well, here's what it says (copied and pasted for your pleasure):
Hi %%FIRST_NAME%%, (yep, that's how they addressed us!!!) As the year comes to a close, we wanted to say “thank you” for being a loyal Club Eternia® subscriber in 2012. It's been a great year with incredible highs (Fisto™, Rattlor™ - two vintage figures that surpassed even our expectations) the occasional minor misstep (Frosta's gloves), and more incredible highs (Griffin, a 200X beast, and Shadow Weaver - our first Filmation figure!). So, to make sure you know how much we value your business and as promised at Power Con in noting the issue with Frosta's gloves, we're sending you a FREE gift… a basic Masters of the Universe® Classics figure will be included with your December subscription shipment! You won't know which one you're getting until it arrives and because it's our gift to you, shipping for this freebie figure is 100% paid by Mattel. While we originally thought this gift might not come until late next year, we wanted to end 2012 with a bang and make sure you get your free gift before the year is up! Looking ahead, 2013 promises to be even more powerful! We'll start out the year with Ram Man® and Netossa™, then get ready for the arrival of the first Castle Grayskull® playset in 30 years. Again, thank you for being a part of our MOTUC family. We wish you and yours the happiest of holidays! The MattyCollector.com Team Now this is my first year subscribing, so I don't know if this was done in the past. The bolded text is what interests me. Are we getting an entirely new figure or a fixed figure (Frosta with arms fixed, King Hiss, maybe)? Anyone want to wager a guess? I'm personally more excited to get Mosquitor!!! |

I am expecting it only to be overstock ... but hell I'm happy with that. I appreciate a free fig on Matty's part.

Yay Mighty Spectors for everyone! lmao. Fuck them, I spent more on their site than I would have if I just had a sub.

Anybody see the current gift pack sale they have going on now through January 4th? I wish they had some better sets, but that one with He-Man and Orko is definitely worth it if you don't have an Orko yet.

I too suspect over stock figs. Anything but She-Ra please. I did hear that the free fig was in part a response to the Frosta arm debacle. To tell you the truth I never opened mine and I could not tell the difference. POP fans must be insane. As for MFG mistakes they have made so many I lost count. I can't wait to see what everybody's free fig was.

I am thinking sticker sheet, extra part not a whole figure though. Has Mattel given away whole figures before?

They gave a Slimer to all the Ghost Buster Club subscribers after they canceled the sub.

As far as I know, nobody has received a Slimer yet. They're constantly bitching about it on facebook.
