I was honestly expecting worse. The basic line isn't too bad. I'm happy they at least have basic articulation, and the detail is good enough. I might end up picking those up.

The only ones that look worth getting are those 6 inch multiverse figures and the exclusive two pack. Other then those I'd just wait and see what the Hot Toys figures will look like.

Pretty much everything looks good. I'm lad to see we'll be gettin Multiverse figures for this movie. Though I wasn't expecting the Multiverse line to grow to be two scales.

I'm not sure which scale I'll go with, but I have a feeling It'll be whichever one that Batmobile is in.

Sorry I'm confused which ones are 3.75? Is it the ones that say "Trade Ups" or "Collect and Connect"?

Still super pumped that there are Multiverse figures.

I'm not sure myself, but I'm going with the ones that have the sculpted capes, whichever scale that is.

I LOVE the Bat-gadgetry on display here, especially the grapple guns and batarangs.

The gadgets look incredibly awesome.

And I don't know what "Trade Ups" mean but I remember "Collect and Connect" used to be a DCUC thing and those were 6 inchers.

I'm still a tad confused, but I think I've got a handle on most of this stuff...

There are two scales of Multiverse figures. One looks to be the standard 3-3/4" figures, and the other... I'm not sure how big those are. I'm guessing 6", so maybe these are taking the place of the normal Movie Masters line?

There is a line of "basic" 6" scaled figures that kinda look like more detailed Total Heroes figures. Which would appear to be the scale the Batmobile is in.

Then there is a line of 12" figures and a line of large electronic figures, though I'm not sure how big these ones are.

Then there is the Movie Master 2-pack, which actually might be the only "Movie Master" release for this movie...

Then the typical jumble of role-play items. All of which so-far are Batman related.

Am I missing anything?

Edit: Oh, the props look nice, but only make the actual role-play toys look even worse than they normally do.

Thanks for posting what you did when did, joe. I just got off work after a very terrible, soul crushing day and this stuff actually being up (i was wondering if it would even be shown this year) actually changed my mood completely.

Thanks again, man.

Wow, I gotta applaud Mattel. They are putting out at least four different versions of Wonder Woman, a female cinematic superhero. We can barely get two versions of each female character from Hasbro, and one is usually an exclusive.

Best part for me is that the release date says Jan 1st and I always have extra cash after Christmas. I may get to go a little nuts for once.

Ok, so the 3-3/4" Multiverse line says that it's a "Collect and Connect" line... so... that gun sitting in the middle of all four figures on a nice little stand is the thing you're supposed to build?

I was thinkin about going for the larger Multiverse line in-hopes that the Batman will be able to fit into the Batmobile made for the basic line of figures, but I might end-up going with both now...

The new pics are awesome. Much appreciated sir.

It looks like the "Collect and Connect" figures are definitely smaller than the "Trade Ups" but they also look like Movie Masters. I think only time will tell chaps.

I think these suck,,,,the Bat Armor looks nice, but I see Mattel still doing everything that proves they don't care, lack of paint, lack of details, lack of double joints....

BUt after Doomsday disaster, they will get nothing from me....every again!

The new pictures are definitely appreciated. I'm now sure that the C&C figures are 3-3/4" scaled (especially compared to the helmet toy), and compared to them the "Trade-Up" figures certainly look like they're 6" scaled.

I'm only worried that the January release date for these wil mean practically no store will stock them. With this being the toy line for a big-name movie I'm hopin things will be different, but serioulsy, when was the last time you saw a store put out new toy stock in January?

Aw don't say that. I was excited about the release date. And to be fair I didn't say they looked 3.75 just that they look smaller.

If the C&C figures are the 3-3/4", then Mattel has lost their minds. The C&C figures have better articulation AND detail than the Trade-Up figures. Just look at the Trade-Up Superman's suit, no texturing at all, nor a bicep swivel or ab crunch.

I'm excited, but I also don't want to get overly excited and potentially be dissapointed...

Actually that part of my post was a typo. I'm now sure that they are 3-3/4" figures. While I am amazed that they seem to have more articulation than previous Multiverse figures, their relative size compared to the helmet toy makes me sure they're no bigger than 4" tall. Especially with the additional larger scaled Multiverse figures, which I can't imagine being anything larger than 6" tall. Would also help explain why the other 6" figures are specifically called a "basic" line.

So if the "Collect and Connect" figures are 3.75 and fit in with the rest of the Multiverse line then that means...

I'll have a sweet MoS Superman that fits in with Origins Batman and an awesome Wonder Woman. DREAMS COME TRUE!!!!!!
