Doesn't "exoskeleton" mean on the outside? Shouldn't that be "endoskeleton"?

I don't understand the love for Swamp Thing.
At least Voltron looks cool. |

Why no Brightest Day Swamp Thing? That's kind of a bummer. Voltron looks ok. But I have no interest in a static Voltron. The draw is that it becomes five individual lions that combine. Will wait on that version.

Hahaha i swear mattel have some sort of weird negative psychology thing going on: Mattel suit one: but sir,our figures are rubbish compared to the oppositions..... Mattel suit two: i know that you idiot, but ours are SO bad the geeks wont actually believe it....and buy them anyway HEY MATTEL GET A F**KING CLUE WOULD YOU!!! I WANT to buy your product but its SO p**s poor you couldnt give the damn things away!! Hasbro are far from perfect but their product is kicking your asses!!! NOW STEP THE HELL UP!!! GIVE US TOYS WE WANT HOW WE WANT THEM!!! And yes that means with more than 5 points of articulation, and more than a passing resemblance to the character its representing!!! GODDAMMIT!!! |

I know he's got fans, but I think it's more for the notoriety. IIRC Alan Moore fought with DC over the rights to Swamp Thing and kept the property from being licensed until recently.
There's also the endo-skeleton "feature", but there have been figures already released in Japan with similar gimmicks, so I don't consider it a revolutionary breakthrough like Toy Guru made it seem. Quote:
But I understand your point. Quote:
But it definitely looks great. If I wasn't so unsure of the rest of the GL MM line, I'd pick him up immediately.

Alan Moore does not own the rights to Swamp Thing. DC comics owns them. The character was in the Vertigo Universe for a time, and thus not available to Mattel. Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson created Swamp Thing in 1971.

Does anyone know if the same diorama that comes with the SDCC Stay Puft will come with the version that'll be sold on Matty's site? That's half the reason I want that figure.
