Sorry, wasn't sure where to post this.
Has anyone ever been in one of these? I noticed a few months ago(more like last year) that we have a Mattel store around here off the highway. It's in Richardson, TX. I never go out that way, so I've never been in there myself, but I was just wondering if they sold He-Man figures in there.

It's worth checking out, maybe like when trendmasters had a store in STL, they'll have all the online exclusives, and new figures that haven't reached stores yet etc.
I used the trendmasters store when it was still around, to pick up Extreme Ghostbuster Kylie close to a month before they could be found at mass retail. |

They aren't abundant. There's only a handful of them around the country, in select states.
Here's their website: The Mattel Toy Store By the description, it sounds like they sell older stuff from discontinued lines, and maybe new stuff with imperfect packaging.

I wish they had one of these where I live. Instead I've got to get lucky at Big Lots and TJ Maxx.

They are actually pretty crappy. Well the one at the Mattel HQ isn't bad but the one in Industry is pretty bad. It's not cheap and it's sort of like their close out store where things go to die. Back in the day they had the 200X MOTU and some other decent stuff but lately it's really hit or miss.
It's best for baby toys, Barbies, and hot wheels. |
