QUESTION: When is MattyCollector going to get a WORKING website and customer service team?? In January, I noticed that my credit cards were expiring soon so I changed them to an updated one over the phone and told them that I needed these attached to my subscriptions. I ALSO did this online via their website as per their instructions over the phone. It was verified that this was done. Fast forward to today. I get an e-mail from Matty that my Club Lion Force figure didn't ship because my card was declined because they used my OLD credit card. Furious, I called Matty and they tell me that it was "fixed" but it will be delayed by two days when their "automated" system tries again. This is so stupid. They told me that they have also updated my Club Infinite Earths subscription with the new card and that I shouldn't run into this problem again but I DOUBT that's been done. If my order for Jay Garrick is FURTHER delayed after they already bumped him to May, I will GO NUTS.

That really sucks dude. It sounds like they have no idea what they're doing.

Yeah, I'm really angry and this better and I mean it had BETTER not happen to Jay Garrick because that would just be the crappiest.

Question:
With the cancellation and restructuring of DCU Allstars, what will become of the two-packs, such as Sinestro Corps Hal Jordan vs Blue Lantern Kyle Rayner? Have they also been cancelled, or are they still being released as planned?

Hey now, does this mean my question about the 3.75 MOTU figures is being considered?

Is Mattel hiring? I have a high school diploma and am seeking a CEO position in the company.

Well.... that was slightly disappointing. Pretty much said, we want to release them! But we aren't going to do it.

1) Mattel. It seems 3.75 lines tend to hurt your company by poor sales. From the canceling of Infinite Heroes, the clearancing of Green Lantern basic figures, and also the early price cutting of the Young Justice 4 inch line. You hired away the Four Horsemen from Mcfarlane Toys long ago to help with larger action figures. Can you do the same thing today by hiring some designers away from Hasbro's better Marvel Universe lines of great 3.75" figures?
A) An interesting thought and something to consider, although scale might appear to be a correlated factor, there are other factors with a lower p-value in this regression that ought to be considered (figured I’d get you to brush up on statistics =) are they sane? how do they not realize its their freaking product that's the issue? |

Is it just me or do they just not want to release any 3.75-ers with any quality?

Seriously they usually put out toys with the same articulation as the dollar MU in the scale of star wars figures, and expect you to pay more for it. Why. |

At first I hated this answer. now I love it. So scale isn;t the issue. we knew that? What factor do you think is? |

Michael Schnuth asks: Can they explain what the changes in the dc lines the retailers are asking for? Smaller waves? Only better known characters? If both the lines backed by either the great selling books or the very popular cartoon and cant survive, what exactly does the retail market think will work?
TDKR and the new 6” kid line will be at retail starting 05/27. As far as for what retailers are asking, well, that’s a difficult answer. There are books written about this! =). In general, Retailers want product with high velocity and per foot productivity. Our job at Mattel is to satisfy the various consumer needs in the appropriate channel. For example, demand for TDKR v. Brave and the Bold is different and it’s up to us to determine where to sell each line and how big/deep to make the line. I hope that provides some insight. If they can get a 1:18th scale DC line with good articulation at the same price as Marvel Universe wouldn't that satisfy that need? |

I want a Batwoman, too. She's controversial? Maybe in the red states...

after seeing some of the better Avengers stuff in comparison to GL and the upcoming TDKR figures I have given up on Mattel
their lines are either too kid focused or too collector focused, and they fail either way. |

Yeah. I was just afraid an influx of parent complaints or something would prevent Mattel from producing a 6" Batwoman 'cause, let's face it, the DC Direct one isn't gonna cut it. haha. But yeah, I asked the question before realizing that they'd already made a 4" fig. I'm glad they don't consider her too hot to handle.

3) With the canceling of Young Justice 4" figures, is it the end of your efforts, in the 1:18 scale? Or can we expect a different body / articulation / approach in future DC figures thereof that scale? Next year witnesses both the new Man of Steel film AND Superman's 75th anniversary. Its TWICE the media buzz / opportunity to take advantage of a new line of possibly better 1:18 scale figures...
A) Our efforts are never-ending, and we will continue to explore various form factors and scales. We are not making any announcements about 2013 Superman product at this time. Thank you. |

I've spent about a hour trying to complete my order on mattycollector. I could not get it to go through and the captcha's are horrible.
